yawn!

Ive got the 8Gb version which i posted on here when i got it about 6 months ago (for about the same price as this from Amazon) i was very happy with the price then, so this is pretty good.

Prices seem to regularly tumble so expect a lot of competitive prices.

The item itself is pretty good, a bit buggy at times and has lost me approx 1/2 days worth of work but i now just transfer the piece im working on, onto the desktop of the PC im working on and transfer back once complete.

Did you post the £13.49 deal on here - can't find the details.............£15.99 is a really good price but £13.49 was a steal .

This is cold from me. Wait 6 months and 32GB will be this price.

Not sure about that belovedmonster. Yes I accept the fact that as a technology good it will fall in price as things move on. However, these are (presumably?) not manufactured in the UK and the dramatic collapse of sterling will cause prices to be raised by vendors across the board; those that are left! Anyway, major retailers are reporting that cost of goods will be raised from around Spring this year and what we are seeing is the end of the goods that were 'hedged' or purchased at the higher levels of sterling. Therefore, will a 32GB be this price in 6 months - don't count on it! :whistling:

It's never a good idea to edit documents directly on a flash stick for this reason, always use a working copy on the PC's hard drive. Use something like the free Microsoft SyncToy to synchronise files on the flash stick and whichever PC you are working on.

this was a bargain @ £13.49 but @ £15.99 it's still good although it's the same price @ amazon too.

I have this and I love it to bits! Best usb drive EVER!

I got this for £13.49 too. It's good, works well, but writing to it is quite slow...

Was that "bought"?

I've got one and do find it pretty slow to write to. Also one thing that really annoys me is you have to keep it pushed open when inserting it into a usb port otherwise it just retracts back in.

I've got the 4gb version and although these Sandisk memory sticks are fairly good, they're quite slow on transfer - might be worth bearing in mind for anyone planning to use these for moving gb's of data at a time. The next model up, Contour, is much quicker albeit at a cost, as well as some of the Corsair sticks.

Good item none the less and good price, although like other posters the sticks have been around this price for some time.

These are really good drives, I've had one for 2 years and its never failed (1GB). The USB connector bit slides inside the casing too, so its protected. It looks a bit cheap though, as it has a plastic casing, but otherwise its probably one of the best USB sticks out there!

very cheap

Got the 8gb model a few months ago for a similar price. Its amazing how much memorys dropping. I'm voting this a hot deal, but waiting for them to go down even more in price. Maybe in another 6 months the 32gb model will be this price. Got too many memory sticks at the moment lol

good price but i would try to stay clear from this drive! i had a 2gb version and it never usually worked very well, was fairly slow when copying lots of music and worst of all it completely broke after just 7 months of owning it!

i thought the file transfer speed wasn't that slow but never had another one to compare it against
