Was looking for a new iPad, decided on this deal, I phoned and t-mobile also threw in a free 4G (EE) Sim card, With 3GB Internet on, free for 30 days and If I don't want it after the end of the 30 days I can just cancel it, no charge!

Note this is a 24 month contract.

From what I was told this is a limited time deal, dependant on stock.

Mine is being delivered on Wednesday!

so about just over £600 over 2 years then ?

awful price

A little expensive.

£369 for iPad at apple.
£255 for the 2GB data per month.

A tethering sim is probably cheaper.

Not really a great deal if you do the maths - might be wrong but feel free to correct me:

You buy this 24 Month £26/Month iPad Mini. Your allowance include 2GB of data which is fairly reasonable.

£26 x 24 = £624 in total for the whole 24 months.

If you were to buy one from Apple say:

16GB iPad Mini (3G & Wifi) plus O2 2GB/Month @ £15.32/Month:

£369 for your iPad Mini then

£15.32 x 24 = £367.68

You would already have an iPad paid off and only pay £367.68 for the 24 month contract. If you were to add the price of a mini and the O2 £15, yes it would be cheaper but since the iPad isn't on the contract I don't think it would be applicable. (Again, correct me if I'm wrong, maths is not my strong point haha).

Additionally, why would you buy an iPad on contract anyway? Why not just buy an iPad 3G + Wifi and go GiffGaff?

Speechless!!!!!!

I bought mine on contract with 3 as I'm paying around £7/month for 15GB of Data. Their deals don't look to be as good on the mini though.

So, what you're saying, is why not pay £369 upfront, and over £100 more over two years, just to pay less a month?

Your deal, over £730.

If you take off the cost of the iPad, you're paying about £10.63 a month for the internet. Not too bad all in all.

Ahhahhaaaaahhahahahahahah this one goes up in the hall of fame top of the list cons of all time.

Fantastic and hilarious. I would pat the people who bought this on the back. Go and look a your babies and children in the face and tell them you spent the families money buying this!

Also tell them your absolutely clueless and don't know your **** from your elbow when it comes to technology lol.

Well done, cold!

I'm seriously thinking that apple is paying these people off no? Please help me to understand how these people work. I always say it and I'll say it again. I would hate to be sold this piece of technology thinking it's great just because I bought a £40 apple cleaning cloth. I'd hate to fumble around looking for a way to get a simple photo off my phone or memory stick. Nearly every ex sheep around me now has android phones and pads. Are these sort of fools stoll around? It must be a setup.....

All in all I don't see it as a bad deal, The idea of contracts is getting a device now, and then include some data(Texts and talktime if a phone) for X amount a month, Yes it could work out cheaper if I buy it now, but thats not the point.

1) I doubt many people could afford to buy it straight up, I could if I saved for a while, but I don't see the point, I would rather get something with some internet.

2) From all the other deals I could find, this was the only one with no up-front fee, £60 at 3, £50 a Vodafone.

Sorry for posting what I view as a good offer, Don't like it then don't post, From what I worked out, the total cost is just a little over £600 including the free month of 4G.

Now, if you find a deal with the same specifications, or less (Including the Unlimited BT Openzone) then, go for that, But this is the best I could find, I know you get a lot more data on Three, But that would be £29/Month, with the £60 upfront, and from what I know the Three network is still patchy.

Jack.
