The luminous yellow is definitely the worst colour for these, but I think I could live with it at that price.

Hot price

What's so good about the iPod nano?

Excellent price

Great deal

Best sound quality, excellent radio, bluetooth and built-in Nike +

Very good price. Nike Plus works well. I paid 120+ for Slate before christmas. Battery life not great though.

Dont most people just use their phones nowadays.

Considering CeX give £86.00 exchange for these, that is a great price.

twist

I guess if they did, Apple wouldn't still be making GAZILLIONS selling iPods. I think of it like this:

"Hmmm, which shall I take jögging?... my SGS Note 2 which is about the size of my head, or my iPod which weighs about the same as a pack of chewing gum..."

Depends on the user mate...

That's funny.

Does this work with old ipod accessories or is the same new port that the iphone 5 uses?

great price, good spot

Oh man, I just spent £109 the other day on one of these ... could have saved myself a bit more if I had waited! I hate when that happens. HEAT added though. Great deal.

It uses the new lighting connector the same one as the iphone 5

Creative MP3's have far better sound than i pods.

worth it for the spare lightening cable alone.

True enough, and loads of stock in NW London. Great price, but be aware these are quite restricted in use as far as I know, does not sync through wifi etc (if I am wrong please let me know, as I like to quickly download podcasts etc to my iPod touch)

Great spot though, hotted

People still jog?! I thought they just get gastric bands nowadays.

Most ridiculous comment I've ever heard. I'll sell you a spare Lightning cable for £50 - bargain price over this deal.

Good deal OP. Orderd to replace my aging 2GB 2nd Gen Nano. Heat added!

Seems like a very good price. I have a Sansa Clip+ that I use for jogging but would consider this and upgrade if the Nike+ thing worked but I can't imagine it's very accurate. Am I wrong?

Do you have to use iTunes with this or is there an alternative way of getting your music on them?

There are alternative ways - but none for the feint hearted. iTunes is the way forward with these.

+1 for Nike thingy on it, any good?

"Charging via USB to computer system or power adapter (sold separately)

Included accessories Apple EarPods"

Does it actual come with the cable?

According to the Apple Website YES!!

What’s in the box

That's a shame, I wouldn't mind one for the gym but there's no way I'm gonna use iTunes. Will stick to my Sony Walkman player for now.

Am tempted with this as it has the Nike thing, i hate taking my phone out when i go running

So do most other mainstream brands, and all of them are more flexible, cheaper and less obvious as Apple products and therefore possibly less likely to attract the attention of someone.

I bought a Sandisk Sansa Clip Zip for each member of my family, for less than the price of one of these and for just a few quid can upgrade to 32GB, plus once you install Rockbox a whole new world of how MP3 players should be, opens out.

I guess it depends on whther your local store has in any stock. I am in the same position as you. None in the Edinburgh stores so I would have to pay and then collect so no voucher can be used.

Not sure how it could be up to much, it doesn't have GPS onboard...so god knows how it can work to any accuracy? Or does it just show how far/speed you've gone but not where...

If so...bit rubbish.

Think it's online only, as in order and pay online for delivery.

Was going to buy...then thought sod it, previous gen one goes for £50 every now and again and this doesn't offer anything new, except break compatibility with most docks, useless Nike+, upgrade of headphones from abysmal to awful, bigger screen where it wasn't needed, removal of clip so annoying in gym, same quality sound and improved battery.

I realize Nike+ might be interesting to some, sure it would be if it had GPS and you could use it outside, using Nike+ in the gym is a waste of time because basically all gyms have a key system that tracks you're whole workout anyway, and not only walking/jogging/running.

Not really worth the bother for £80...

Will stick with my £30 sansa Fuze with Rockbox

....Oops....just done an angry anti apple post without even trying.

Can I take some wet & dry to this to remove the disgusting yellow?

I agree it's worth it for the lightning cable! I needed another one making this £65 in theory. Too good to pass on

I need a spare cable -> £15.

So for £65 quid I can replace my old (nano v4) with the latest version. As they still go for £40-£50 replacing the old version with the new version is going to cost me £25 at most which is more than worthwhile for the additional 8gb of space I'll receive.
