Good price for a branded class 4 card.....

Have been looking around for an hour or so trying to find a good brand (don't want the cheap branded ones like play.com or kingston etc)

Panasonic are the founders of SD cards (along with toshiba and sandisk) and make great memory, they are one of the only manufacturers that actually sustain speeds in benchmarks....

The only one cheaper posted is the play.com one....

Kingston make play.com cards so in that case it's a valid point but kingston don't perfom well in benchmarks... Even the sandisk class 2 outperformed the class 4 kingston...

Panasonic and Sandisk are the only manufacturers to make cards that perform well, panasonic also make all Sony's SD cards (read all this on Toms hardware)

Interesting

Is this any good in your opinion. I can understand that getting carried away with big numbers is not always the best way to go.

Trascend 16gb SDHC Class 10
Edited by: "Lyrrad" 3rd Aug 2010

nothing special imo

class only matters for continuous processes like recording vids etc and when class 4 is enough then all class 4 cards operate just as well.
For data transfer then average speed matters and class is often irrelevant here.

well reviewed 16gb class 4 on amazon for 17.99 by bytestor with crystaldisk benchmarks supplied (no min speed noted though)
