This seems like a good laptop to me for a 17" laptop with all the capabilities mentioned below and in order to buy this laptop for the price stated instead of £699.99 plus shipping, enter the 5% code (YAW690) and the free shipping code in the vouchers table.

Don't forget to go through Quidco to receive 3% cashback, making this laptop just £645.04 including everything.

Here's the specs of the laptop and i hope i've managed to help someone find a laptop they're after

Just thought i'd mention that a cheaper option (£499.99 but £25 off with the YAW code and free delivery too, plus 3% through Quidco, making it £460.74) is also available for people looking to buy 17" laptops as well.
The laptop below can also be bought in similar fashion to make it at the best possible value: currys.co.uk/mar…063

I got this one from PCworld for my girlfriend yesterday. Really impressed with it for the price and great 17" screen for video.

Never liked these laptops with the keyboard lopsided to the left. You look at the screen head on, and your hands and arms are skewed to the left.

512k cache am i missing something here that sounds kinda crap

Well. I have to say, I just don't get it why people want a laptop with a 17" screen. You are not gonna carry such a big thing around, are you? So isn't it better and much cheaper just go for a desktop?

I bought a dual core AMD Acer laptop last october and it was the worst piece of electronics I ever bought in my life! I sold it and bought a dell Inspiron which I'm very happy with. Do the sensible thing and buy a Dell.

That depends on if you understand what a cache is, and what how it affects performance
