Very unusual to get offers like this on Apple. Heat from me.

Better deals in the apple refurb store today

We've been looking at these for the past couple of weeks and this is the best deal we've seen (even cheaper than America!). Ordered

Thank you.

Yeah, but they're refurbished, and these are brand new. oO

In the refurb store most have 15% off and that's refurbished. I'd rather have 17% off and brand new!

I would rather have 75% off and get a PC

Without the svengali image of Steve Jobs, they are just a company using cheap labour in Chinese sweat-shops to manufacture over priced goods.

So now they have to face reality and actually get competitive on prices X)

Apple. Cold.

Worth no more than 400 bones.

I'd rather have a reliable MacBook than a ugly POS plastic unreliable junk known as a Windows laptop.

Windows don't manufacture laptops.

I second that

Aren't these last gens edition?

revzman's already here, just waiting on championshipmanager to arrive and have his input on apple and how this is cold.
People like that make me wonder why i still even use this site at times

benjaminv

From the link on the apple site its a no. However what you might want to consider is that when you purchase through educational store you get a 3 year warranty as opposed to 1. That was the case when I bought mine. So you might pay the extra depending on A) if you want an extended warranty or B) you'd prefer to save money and are happy with 1 year.

Look at all these haters, pathetic.

Thanks for the help. I guess I'll just wait on then and get one direct from Apple.

No, this is a deal website. How is a 13 inch laptop with a standard spec for a thousand quid a deal?

You will not understand that, too small-minded. Design, value, built quality, those POS laptops with those trackpads are far far away compared to Apple's trackpad (which I assume you never used, like any Apple product), backlit keyboard etc. It packs everything into one package and it looks superb. Damn, even a charger has no competitors out there.

Apple products are made by magical elves in Apple Valley.

I'm getting pretty annoyed with my mbp, three visits to the repair guys to replace hard drives, power adapters and RAM. Even the customer service has begun to falter. They're not the same company as of old. If Lenovo did an X1 with a decent display, I'd throw my wallet at it.

Was only a matter of time the sad troll ChampionshipManager commented on a Apple deal.

Wow. Just £1037.50 for a laptop with Intel 4000. What a steal!

How is a Nexus 4 or 7 at full price a deal? Herp derp

I have my MBP for about two years, no problems whatsoever.
Company vise, they are the same. Exchanged my iPhone 5 few times because the screen cracked (my fault) - no questions been asked. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Didnt Apple released new line of Pro and Air with better specs and cheaper than those just yesterday?

Thats why these are cheaper now with a discount, don't you think?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if all the orders for these get cancelled, i've never had a deal from the hut fulfilled, good luck!

Oh please. I need a large monitor to work, not one of these lady toys.

The main reason people buy these is because they look and feel nice. That's pretty primitive.

They also tend to stick their fingers in their ears when they hear about how people are treated in the the sweat-shops in China that manufacture them.
