Dabs sells the microserver for £222.07 including free delivery. Haven't seen it cheaper elsewhere.

I didn't mean to deduct it from the price of course.
3% gives another £6.66 off the price; it's the devil's server.

No optical drive seemingly but it has space to accept one. Hopefully it doesn't need a special mounting kit costing more than a DVD burner.

The processor and the graphics card on this one are much better than on the normal Atom rigs

Just got one of these for a home server, only uses 36w which is nice.

CPU is low powered but for home use is ok, people have also installed esxi 4 on this using a pen drive, on the internal USB slot.

Also includes 4 caddies, instead of the standard blanks which hp normally supply I.e ml 115

That's not that impressive these days. My last desktop was a mATX Core i3 system with a 1.5TB 3.5" HDD and that idled at abound 38W.
