Ice cold from me. £44.99 a month for 76mb fibre. I'm currently paying Sky £25 a month for that
Looks interesting, thinking of leaving Virgin.
This looks like its just for normal broadband for 29.99pm .?

Surely not, if so its one of the worst deals ive seen on this site. I must be wrong?

Hi thanks for posting, just wanted to let you know this is not a good deal. This is only for standard broadband at 17mb.

My recommendation would be to have a look at one of the many websites showing broadband offers.

E.g broadband.moneysavingexpert.com/

The money saving expert one that adds the cost of everything and lets you know the average.

So at the moment for standard 17mbps broadband (non fibre) with Talktalk is: £15.66/mth for 12 months.

They are, don't touch them. Even if they offer you their services for free, don't do it to yourself. I learnt my lesson the hard way.
Have a look at sky. 38mb is £25 including line rental. Or £30 for 76mb

I did the same and after a few days Virgin called me back and basically gave me anything I wanted - TV (with Sky1 etc.), 100mb broadband and phone with free calls for £35 p/m plus a free router move.

Hi guys, you’re right . They are. Just used it as an example. The next best is Sky.
I'm sure we all have different experiences with the main suppliers but I found BT appalling. They completely reneagued on the deal I'd signed up for and put me on something else. It took weeks of arguing and lengthy phone calls. Wouldn't even accept their own confirmatory emails as proof of the deal. In the end they would only give me what I'd signed up for if I extended from 12 to 18 months. Utter disgrace.

I'm sure others have had good experiences with them, but I'd never use them again. Left them as soon as I could.
Putting aside service providers reputations and hang-ups this is not a good deal.

I switched earlier this month to BT Infinity Fibre 53Mbps from Virgin "Gamer 200" (200Mbps Down 20Mbps Up) and paying £27.99 a month (one off £9.99 setup fee) including BT Sports HD linked to my Sky viewing card for free for 12 months. On top of that I received £150 prepaid mastercard gift and Quidco has tracked for £105 cashback.

That was from this HUKD post thanks to Anon32
Wait for this kind of deal!

If all the cashback comes through that makes the deal work out to £7.57 a month for the 12 months.
(Obviously I'll be spending the money back on something else but you get the point!)

I would wait until something with a little more incentive comes along guys!

I get my TV from sky alongside my fibre. If that was included for £25 I would have said so.
Does anyone know If you're already a bt customer is it possible to terminate your account and then open a new one with this offer?

i went for talktalk 2yrs ago because we didn't have internet, and talktalk given the earliest activation date. the confirmation of live date was in about 2 weeks. but they kept changing the date, delayed for nearly a month which was extremely nightmare! we had to use mobile tethering. cost me over £50. and they just gave us a very little compensation. however nightmare was not end, they keep inceasing the bill as they said they are improving the service, wtf, nothing improved since we used them, even worse and worse. we initially signed up with 6months contract only, as we've planed to move to new home after 6months. so after 6months we were ready to move to new house and happy to end up with them, called them, they said we are on 18months contract! what the hell! and if we move house, the contract will refresh, which means we will stuck with them for another 18months. we wanted to paid up bill and go for other network, but again, only talktalk can setup faster than other companies because(they promised) move house process quicker and new house got the line, then we agreed again with talktalk. I WAS ABSOLUTELY FOOLISH! It was just another nightmate started! they changed the Live date again and again, another 2 weeks delay! I was tired to ring the customer service, they drove me on the wall everytime. In 2yrs, my bill has gone up to about £40/m, internet still as bad as usual. far far worse than Virgin which i thought it was bad. NOW, my contract will be finished next month, i may go back to Virgin, I really miss their service, and never look on talktalk again, even they offer me for free.

I feel your pain, they are ranked either bottom or near the bottom of every single poll for a reason. When they try and stop me in the street I tell them in a loud voice that I'd not touch them again if they paid me. Hopefully I manage to put off anyone considering them at those stalls.
