Your link goes to Aldi.ie where it says this is €99.99; that converts to approx £79/£80 rather than £39.99

It's already listed at £79.99 here

Excellent; thanks MrsLD

£79.99 on my leaflet

The manual viewable here: medion.com/gb/…d=3 is for E7316 and does not list mini/micro HDMI which is a shame.

Seems good value.

The deal is available from the 14th ...so yes at the moment it is £79.99 but from the 14th of august it is £39.99 ...I have a leaflet telling me so

doesn't get great reviews at £80, but I'm guessing at half that price the opinions about value would change drastically!
I wonder if they'd any modding been done on these, especially a tutorial on how to root it.

Its start from 18 August 2014 it said on the picture above...

UK website not showing ot next week only this week at 79.99. I will wait till next week if they are half price

Usual caveat on these - this is equivalent to the cheap Chinatabs, but you get a warranty which makes it a more tempting prospect....but don't expect it to be anything more than "Just OK" for the money.

The screen is what lets this down hugely - it's NOT HD and is rather low res.

Still, have some heat as its a low price for this specific item...`i would still strongly recommend that no-one buys one though, waste of money

Worth the money for a 3yr old and 7yr old?

Depends how often you want to use it. I've sold plenty of this spec of tablet and I personally wouldn't use them apart from occasional use.

Before we believe you we will require 2 character references, a doctor's note, a blood sample, your last 3 years school reports and you need to be able to do the lambada.

Or we could go mad and think you got the leaflet before anyone else saw it and posted to help people............who knows

Just save some more money and buy an iPad. Anything else just says "I've failed in life".

Good alternative to car DVD player me thinks? Far better resolution than those, I reckon, no changing DVDs and can play games.

I don't know about everyone but I for one would not go near Apple. There are better tablets out there than the ipad and you aren't stuck to what apple decide you can have.

this has become totally confusing here Ive been doing my best mooching around online for half and hour on this.
a search on medion s own website only comes up with the MEDION LIFETAB E7316 which is only 8gb not 16gb !
(and ive read some confusion from earlier buyers ( at £79.99) that the box says MEDION LIFETAB E7318 when actually it contains the MEDION LIFETAB E7316.

Funnily enough when i see someone with an Ipad thats exactly what i think of them.

If you don't buy an iPad, it just suggests it is the best that you can afford. Ladies will avoid you, you will have to explain to your mates about the number of cores it has and how much memory is in it, about how you can add a cable to get video out etc etc. It will turn you into a bore who is constantly having to explain it.
If you have an iPad, people will think you are wealthy and know quality when you see it.

you'd be better off getting an ipad if you're swapping two children.

This is so true, since I bought an ipad women flock to me, and now I can have interesting conversations.

Exactly. You don't need to discuss an iPad. It just says "I am a success", leaving time to discuss your exciting travel plans with the many women who will find you interesting.

there is a good review here but then customers concerns here do mention they get home and find it has the wrong spec!. theeffect.net/201…18/

yet thats all you've done is try to explain why the ipad is better and you sound like the biggest bore around here.

I'm pretty sure a grown adult defining their success in life by how overpriced the little toy they have is is kind of a bigger pointer to having failed in life.

Anyway, forty quid for something that can access the internet with, read books on, listen to music, watch programmes on iPlayer, do emails, access websites & play games is a pretty sweet deal, have some heat.

Some of us oldies on state pension can't justify a whole months pension & no food for an ipad. So sorry I'm a failure !! LOL
