Ridiculously cheap for a thermomix, grab a bargain today. Lidl deal only, so be quick, It is only until stock ends (no restock). I had a bunch of people ask me where I bought this from when taking the bus back home. Usually thermomix's are £900 +.

Only thing i dislike is it does not have a built in weight scale, but for this price, it's a steal.

Here is a link showcasing its capabilities:

Here is another link with reviews (Sorry it is in French but google translate is your best friend):

Fantastic if you can speak French or German or whatever it is, sounds French to me.

Still no idea what the heck this thing does. I suppose I should really Google it to find out.

Wow, the pukka ones cost nearly 900 quid, wondering what the quality is like.

it weighs, chops, blends, kneads, steams, juices, grates, whisks, simmers, mills and crushes, replacing more than 30 kitchen appliances in one unit.

Or find that bus full of people who knew - I'm calling TfL right now.

made a sandwich filling earlier on and I can say it is the same as my grandmas professional appliance costing her over €1200. Only thing Is there is no built in scale. The quality of the mix is top notch. Youtube also has some reviews if you're in doubt.

Yes I bought it in the morning. Not all lidl stores have them apparently, my friend tried purchasing one in the evening ansd was lucky enough to get the last

Does it have covers for the blades to allow cooking stews in the absence of the reverse mode found on a thermomix?

Which store please?

you mean the butterfly thing that stirs it. yes it does

This is a fantastic deal, I bought one yesterday. I've had two different models of Thermomix before and loved them.
Yes it doesn't have the weighing scales or the reverse blade function but there appears to be no difference other than price to the Thermomix.

Their are many recipe sites for the Thermomix which should be completely aligned to this Monsieur Cuisine machine, there are also Facebook groups with recipes. The Spanish call them the Bimby machine and Australians love them also.

This is an astonishing bargain.

Which lidl stores stock the silvercrest Monsieur cuisine thermomix please?

If you go on the lidl website and go to store finder, look up your nearest stores and click 'select stores to see offers'. If you see the product, it means your local store will have it. Be warned, it will be very very very difficult to find now.

I bought one from the Speedfields Park (Fareham, Hampshire) store earlier this evening. They had around 10 units on display so may be worth heading there tomorrow morning if you live close by! For the record I am over the moon with the machine-as a professional chef I use thermomixes on a daily basis but my budget doesn't really stretch to buying one for home. This is the perfect compromise even without the scales & reverse function (Which are not really that important in the whole scheme of things!

Still you can buy in Sheffield

Fareham had 4 left earlier today too.

Thanks for the heads up folks; Maidstone Broadway had about a dozen stacked up this evening.

Bought another for a work colleague today-3 left in Fareham as of about midday!

there's about 6 left in the Hayes store. Now I just have to prepare myself for the earache I'm going to get for buying another 'unnecessary' gadget :-)

Hi how's been the experience of this machine
Awaiting an English review

8 left in gravesend Kent no-one seems to have bought from this store except me.

Pretty impressed so far. Has coped with everything I've tried - smoothies, soup, steamed veg, spice mixes. Most annoying thing is the lid which is really difficult to get on properly. I'm a 6ft ex- rugby player and struggle so I can see it being all but impossible for a housewife. There's a polish review on YouTube that I had a friend translate for me and the reviewer said the same. The recipe book is a bit sparse but there are loads of thermomix recipes on the web which pretty much work without any adaptation.

oops, little update. If you put the seal into the lid the correct way the lid is stiff but not to bad. Doh!

Thanks will see if still available
Can it make dough?

probably not. The thermomix knead setting switches from forward to reverse mode to simulate real kneading. This machine doesn't have reverse. Tellingly there are also no bread recipes in the recipe book. I'm going to stick with my Kenwood chef for bread

Whilst searching for more info/recipes on the Monsieur Cuisine and thermal cookers, came across the Bellini Intelli Kitchen Master, which looks identical to the M. Cuisine. Users were mainly in Australia, North America - found lots of useful info for getting to grips with cooking this way. HTH if like me you're new to it.

Well I went into Fareham Lidl this afternoon and they have put another load out. Around 10 units on the shelf.

As for a review of the machine: I am a professional chef and use thermomixes every day and have been mightily impressed with monsieur cuisine so far. It does everything the thermo does withthe exception of the built in scales and reverse option, neither of which warrant paying an extra £800 or so. As has been mentioned the lid is a little tight but with a bit f patience it really isn't a major issue!

Nice spot, it looks identical. The only difference I can see is that the bellini comes with an extra mixing blade (part # BTMKM-04) which is used for kneading. There's a company in Canada that sell it for cad 34.99
Not sure about shipping though but it could be useful.

hi Mathew, Can you please post the link of that Canadian site where we can get that mixing/stirring blade? Seen some good youtube vids about that Bellini

The site is cedarlaneculinary.ca/Pro…ail?code=BTMKM-04&lob=Culinary

I've emailed about shipping and I'll let you know if they get back to me

I bought one having seen my friends use the Thermomix but it only comes with a very limited recipe book. I have just tried to re-heat chilli con carne- I added a bit more stuff to it and it chopped up my beans. How do you avoid the ingredients being chopped. For instance how do I make a stew? any suggestions please?

hi Tina, you can look for recipes for Thermomix and try that. Or the Bellini Intelli kitchen should work fine as far as it doesn't ask you to use stirring blade.

hi thanks for reply. I checked on Thermomix and it says use reverse speed for stews. Would that mean we put on the mixer blade in? help!

there is no reverse function so I think you can not do this recipe with silvercrest. However if I were you I would try speed 1 instead of reverse this way it will still stir but will not chop.

For use of this appliance I think the blade should always be installed otherwise all the stuffs inside the jug will be drained in the motor and electrical area underneath which is a dangerous thing.

thank you so much kedar_pithwa- I am cooking the stew on speed 1 and it is working! I will let you know how it turns out!
