I'm pretty sure this is available instore as well

Hi all, first post

Not sure if I am missing something here as I don't know much about weights. Maybe somebody could enlighten me.

4 x 1.5kg = 6kg
4 x 2kg = 8kg
4 x 1.25kg = 5kg

6kg + 8kg + 5kg = 19kg

Not forgetting the 2 x 1.5kg bars on top?

If i'm being silly then please tell me, genuinely confused.

Got these a while ago whilst they were on offer:

hotukdeals.com/ite…set

Great quality.

Weights are 2kg 1kg and .5kg plus 2x1.5kg bars Tesco's description is wrong.

I got this 1 or 2 weeks ago
What you get is

2 x 1.5kg bars = 3 kg
4 x 2kg = 8 kg
4 x 1kg =4 kg
4 x 0.5 kg =2 kg
Total weight = 17KG

so you are right if you add the weights up but they are selling it as 17KG
and I got 17KG

ordered thanks... extra 10% with my card:thumbsup:

Ahh right, thanks a lot for that.

So what is the general consensus on these? Are they good quality? And are they heavy enough to get an ok workout at home?

so EACH dumb bell going to weigh a tad over 18 pounds. so this weight and less would be great for arms ( bis & tris ) delts ( laterals , front & rear ) flys for chest ( great exercise ) . so if you want to pump up your arms, chest and shoulders these will do it .

I just love the 'features' description for these on the tesco site:

Material- Steel bars and spinlocks, weights cast iron
PC Link- No :whistling:

Damn those no usb connection weights!
