nice thanks

...also on ebay....here

Sooner buy from Maplin direct than fleabay. Maplin also has vouchers for discount above certain values so by buying a little more you may get a discount. By the way, watch your fingers when collapsing this ladder

Too tall for me!

Thanks

i've had the 2.8m one for a while and i find it excellent, easily stored and easily transported in your car...this one is rather on the small size but if it's adequate for your needs, i can recommend it from my experience.

Good price but very short - only about 5 foot 7"

Just use it without extending X)

Nice find. Reserve & collect from your local store is handy.

does anyone know any good deals for a folding ladder that's more like 3m to access a loft?

Good price but I can't image in practical terms what you'd use such a short ladder for. Let the suggestions commence ....

... in fact, how can this be safe? After you reach the first step what on earth are you going to hold on to?

No idea if the best price but the same telescopic ladder in a 3.75 metre length was £79.99 on the Maplin website.

I bought the longer version of this and had to get it swapped within a week. A few of the clips that collapse each step popped out. The replacement has been going strong for the last 6 months or so though. Touch wood it was just a one off!

Maplins also have the 3.75m version currently on offer here

At £79.99, it is not such good value as the 1.7m version, but it is cheaper than the 2.9m version, which is £99.99 !

What are you doing up a ladder that allows you to hold the ladder? you're also not going to be that high anyway.

I've got one of these and find it unrivalled to reach the top of the skirting boards when I am painting.

Bit pointless unless ur a short ass

I assume this has to be rested on a wall, right? I am looking for freestanding ladder.

Ordered thanks!

Didn't know donkeys can climb ladders.

any taller ones on specail anywhere? need one for the loft.

I use this sort of ladder every day at work.
They are no use for painting etc as if you get paint into the sliding parts they may no longer lock into place.
Also, having tried one of the cheaper models I now only use higher end versions such as 'Xtend & Climb'. The cheaper one feel loose and flex too much, although given that this one is only diddy it might be ok.

Ok in case you meet a big bird and you need a ladder,

Bought one - great for getting the stuff out of the roofbox on the VW Firetruck.

For those sorts of heights I wear my wifes stilettos. £4.99 in the New Look sale.
Show off your calf also, I bet those ladders don't. Lol

What happens when you have to up a floor in a building?

What happens if you walk up a hill that is higher than 6 feet?

3.75m one has come down to 59.99 including delivery. Makes it a much better deal!

I can never see these ladders without thinking of this video: youtube.com/wat…xGU

Many step ladders are taller and freestanding, i.e. do all this can and much more?!
