Lucky for some
I've just looked and my closest Aldi is 9.32 miles away!

LOL - I can see mine from my bedroom window... not sure if that's a good or bad thing though!

Maybe keep your curtains closed!?
I've got Sainsburys 2 miles away in one direction and a large Asda 4 miles away in the other direction - I can see the M25 from my bedroom window!

How inconvenient.

I love the Netto deals on here, my nearest Netto being 105.8 miles away

yes really! they have a 6 pack for £1.19 or around that price and this other one with 12 for 99p... I love Aldi pricing

I am fortunate enough to have my own free range clucks, just starting to pay for themselves after the usual mid-winter lull in egg laying.
I also do some of my shopping in Aldi.
I haven't looked at eggs for obvious reasons,BUT,I bought some North Sea Kipper fillets in Aldi last week-was shocked and staggered they had been processed in a Chinese factory-look hard enough and it 'clearly' states it on the package.
Quite where these free range hens were ranging, may be interesting to discover..................
Still, cheap, so has to be hot.

Yeah I have always said Aldi are touch and go with their products.
Some being awesome and some well below average!
Their Veg being 1 thing of very LOW quality. However their fresh Pizza's and Fresh Lasagne's etc are very edible and so so cheap! the Meat Feast Pizza is around £1.59!

I'm pretty sure those are not Free Range.

Hot deal for these Sainsburys eggs if you find them in your store
They don't appear online as OP says, but there are some cheap boxes with 15 eggs

Good Sainsbury deal, many thanks, heat added.

15 eggs for a quid at tesco - this is all about Hot UK deals after all.

Credit crunch? What credit crunch? People seem more than happy to pay 250% more for their eggs. 13 grand cars being voted scorching hot. Seems there's plenty of money about.

Haven't voted - I'm letting others decide on what they really want to see on a site for Hot UK Deals.

I get those all the time.... need to save money where we can. Can't believe people lash out on the free range stuff??

Have you ever compared the quality of a free range egg with that of a caged egg. Caged eggs just don't compare, the shells are thinner, the white runnier, the yolk pale and insipid, not to mention the cruel conditions the birds are kept . Just because you are not interested in cheaper free range eggs doesn't mean it's not a bargain to other people. Voted hot, you can keep your caged eggs they're yucky

I forsee a big discussion about free range and not free range ... about chickens being mistreated etc ... lets not go down that route again eh

We bought 30 eggs from asda for £2.50 not sure if they were free range or not as OH picked them up whilst I was doing something else.

It's all about value for money and £2.50 for 18 Free Range eggs is, in my opinion, value for money. You can't compare the price of barn eggs to free range eggs - they are different products.

Don't go rushing off to your Aldi just yet, the 12pk eggs ARE NOT free range. However, the £1.19 6pk is

THIS is a cracking deal though Voted Hot

Good deal. Thanks.

An ok price as these are pretty small eggs.

They actually average 53.5g each which means they just fall into the 'medium' bracket.

This is the first time I've ever posted a deal so I've been watching it all day (sad I know!) and I've only just got the humour about 'cracking' deal!
