18" High Velocity Fan £23.40 - Delivered from CPC

Cant see a cheaper high velocity 140Watt 18" fan anywhere near this price.
The recently posted screwfix 18" fan is a lower wattage (110W) & costs £6+ more.
The regular CPC price of this fan is £29.78 - {part number HG00662}, but due to CPC's weird pricing structure, by simply adding the extra 2 digits {HG0066268} it brings the price down to this level.
Still need persuading - This same fan is over £47 on AMAZON >> amazon.co.uk/Pro…MQQ

Seems the CPC website is under maintenance straight after I Bought & posted this Fan Deal.
They had over 3400 in stock as of 15 minutes ago, so keep trying as the heatwave will soon be gone
I purchased one of these last week; terrific at moving air around with the only downside (slight) being the noise. Great for rapid cooling though and great value.

Fan Club Rule #1 - The Noisier the Fan - The more Air getting shifted (_;)

Hmmm, Hadn't seen Cherie Blair since Chilcot came out
Have some heat! Oh wait
This is what they use to dry a warehouse after it floods.... heat added.
Have a 20inch already but ordered this one too. thank you heat added
The Amazon link was just a third party seller, no reviews which looks like they never sold it
Heat anyway

110w for the screwfix one but at 110w might even be more efficient, it works exactly the same as a PC fan, double the amperage sometime but same or even less efficiency as the 50% less amperage fan
Being a tight of bottom fella and living in the north east I shall refrain, really could use one ATM but 2 or 3 days use out of 365 a year doesn't make it a necessity.

That reminds me, must chuck out those out of date condoms
The 20 inch version of this fan is on sale for £41.75. But if you add the '68' digits onto the end of part number HG00663 (HG006666368) then it takes the price down to £29.40.

Maybe helpful to some.

Last year these sold out and weren't restocked at all so don't expect them to get more stock in this year!
Thanks OP. Ordered. Heat added.
Nice find Op, just ordered one For my mum, but looks like I'll have to give up mine till it arrives(when it's cooler lol) heat added

This is a good deal - I paid £29.99 from Screwfix and B&Q had them up for £46!!??!
Thanks for the post. just bought one.
Thanks, heat taken away!
Good price. Thanks OP.
This is sorely tempting in this blistering heat. Anyone know how long they take to deliver? If it's anything other than next day I can see it arriving just after the heatwave has passed....
Bought this fan a couple of years ago, was only talking about getting a second one last night and then this pops up. Fantastic fan with good air movement, however if you have a kitten and have this on the floor and the kitten tries running past it will take an unintended detour as ours discovered He now entices the older cat to chase him then just stops short of the fan so the older one overshoots and ends up in the airflow

Ive had an account with CPC for over 20 years now & it used to be around 95% next day delivery, but since they did the Free Delivery for anything over £5, its been more like 3-4 days.
Cant really complain though - only paid services like Amazon Prime can beat that

Read the definition of Velocity under Physics and then tell me again.

Is you fan moving its placement/position over time from A to B? then yes Velocity otherwise...
just ordered and for next day too (_;)
Went for the £29.99 deal at Screwfix. Picking it up on the way home as summer will be over by the time CPC deliver.
Thankyou. Order placed.

sunshine, I studied Physics and did pretty well at it too... and velocity is a VERY basic element of Physics. velocity takes into consideration displacement not distance. displacement takes into consideration direction. if an object travels A to B they could have a positive displacement. then when the object travels back from B to A then the object has a negatives displacement. displacement overall in the journey is thus zero. the velocity as a result is zero because it has taken the displacement into consideration. the speed on the other hand takes into consideration the distance. distance traveled can never be negative. so distance from A to B then from B to A will not be zero. I don't need to read such a basic level of physics thank you very much. you can if you want... that's your choice
