Another deal to forward to my husband

Nice deal maccy

LIDL had a deal for £3 for a bunch of roses.
Voted cold.

Nah. I'm going to point my lovely lady towards the £3 bunches on the pallet in Lidl's and say 'Go on love, treat yourself'. Hehe. And they say romance is dead. Still it's the thought that counts.

at the end of the day roses are roses

tenner for 18 - not bad

Just been to tesco, and I bought 18 roses for £6. I'm buying flowers on regular basis and they were perfect, not "value rang" at all

This is hot. Morrisons flowers are always quality.

Morrison's flowers are top quality, wouldn't risk Lidl flowers for someone special

What's a "luxury" Rose ??

Voted hot to counter this fool...

a) this is for 18 (LIDL deal isn't)
b) this is for luxury roses (LIDL deal isn't)

Just a heads up as I was talking to the florist in our morri and for £2 extra they will wrap the flowers really nicely and were happy to make a massive bouquet out of a bunch of red and bunch of pink roses which I think is not bad.

Nothing tells the other half you love her like a bunch of £10 supermarket roses (_;)

If you can afford ones from a florist, they will naturally be much better, however if you cant, these are a perfectly good gesture too, don't be such a judgmental ****

LIDL deal is cold. Local cemetery has roses laying about which you can collect for free.

How long would they last?

do you have to pre-order these or is it just first come first serve thing, and when there gone, there gone?

I prefer morrisons flowers to any other supplier, including my local florists. Find they are better quality & last longer. Have some heat

roses are roses.
if the same roses were sold in the florist instead of the supermarket i'm sure it would be 'wow - best quality flowers'
snob much?

Will pop into my local today thanks!

Well, that's patently not true. A quality florist will use roses which dwarf your standard issue supermarket ones but I agree the snobbery is laughable

Another annual problem solved thanks. I’ll pass her the link.

Any good stuff out there for anniversaries got one of those buggers coming up to.

How long will they last please anyone??????

If I wanted to maintain them until Saturday, would they still look ok? Have to put them in water, so god knows how they will not get seen before the weekend !

Actually, every single time without fail, the flowers i have bought from a florist have been nowhere near as good quality as supermarket flowers!

Cheers op.

djdave2929

How long would they last?

It says on the "packet" that they'll flower in a vase for at least 5 days

Think I'll wait 'till Thursday to make sure there's no "drooping" on Valentines Day X)

Was going to do the same but then thought "they will be dead by Friday and where would I hide them??" lol.

If yours has a "florist". Ours just puts the flowers out to help yourself...

For the 18 special ladies in your life...

I just need to find somebody to send them to now.
