Am I missing something else cheaper hence the cold votes? 1 phonecall per day means this is cheaper than 18866 which has a 5p connection charge. Obviously no good if you already get your calls inclusive with some other package but for the loads of punters with BT this seems like a great deal.
If it is a rubbish deal then can someone point me to the better ones

I haven't recently looked into the best phone deal so it would be unfair of me to vote either way. It must be so frustrating for you to take the time to post and not to have a cold voter bother to let you know why. So I'll take a guess as to why.

I've found previous BT offers not to be as good as they make out. I recommend to always read the small print. As far as I know, BT do not offer the best deals but it depends entirely upon the personal use of a home phone.

Perhaps you have been voted because you currently have £1.32 displayed. Although you have included the BT line rental of £10.50 a month in your post, it should be added to the £1.32. This is exactly the style of BT advertising. No one likes being teased or tempted with a low price for something, later to find underlying additional costs and conditions.

This is a rubbish deal, primus at uswich offers free evening and weekend calls for £0.00 a month for example, using carrier pre-selection ie. you keep your BT phone line and just use them for calls.

Why pay BT with this offer when you can call for free?

Have to agree with you on this 1. BT really havent done their homework. They rang me yesterday trying to sign me up on this, said Im paying sky £5 per month for this service and we can offer it cheaper.

Im like no I get it for FREE with sky! They said "oh I see and are you happy with their service"

and I'm like well let me see FREE evening and weekend calls, what do you think!

BT are ripoff merchants, paying them line rental for nothing annoys me.

Couldn't agree with you more. If it wasn't for me having to have a BT line for DSL, i would have got rid of they ages ago and used VOIP instead.
