I thought this was very reasonable price for an 18 piece fine precision screwdriver set useful for all sorts of hobbies and jobs involving small parts like computers

can't really go wrong for a £1

Hmmm.
I've just bought a 30 piece one for £2 odd, which for some strange reason someone on HUKD said was the same as this 18 piece one.
30/18 .....nope, I can't see it myself.
Maybe I should buy this 18 piece one to replace my 30 piece one as it is cheaper and although only has 18 pieces will obviously do the same tasks as my 30 piece one. ( According to someone on HUKD) oO

Dunno about this one. Bought a set about a month ago and 5 of the bits are now bent and useless. With hindsight I wish I had paid a few quid more for one that will last.

Not voted either way

Ah, Those...
Got a pack of those half of them were FULLY round.

Bought one last month. Single use only bits. Cold from me

Normal price.

I'd rather not pay for a dodgy piece of kit. That being said, can't go wrong for a quid.

unfortunately out of stock, but will have to make the trip to poundland to get the 18 piece instead

Precision and Poundland should not be in the same sentence, surely!!

^ agreed

I wouldnt assume that maplin's is any better - they dont half sell some cr*p in that store these days

Why do people buy this junk? the heads will break and the rest will fall apart after one use...

They are pound lands own brand after all...

crap

based on what ??????????

have you even used this in the past

at least others are contributing based on their experiences

I stopped buying tools from poundland, they always break even with occasional use. True it is cheap but when you need it and it is not working you'll be kicking your own but.
