What they really look like

http://s27.postimg.org/il0ybat43/SFC273.jpg

These arrive in BUD

Basically, not a big romantic bunch of flowers

More, a bundle of plants / stems

Not exactly the gesture I imagine many of you have in mind

Heat added. Won't be ordering as i'm single, i'm too busy anyway to be with someone i'm training a cartoon lobster to play the smallest violin in the world instead.

He is getting good. Although he failed his level 4 test yesterday.

classy....

nice

be careful bought from asda last year they turned up with half the heads cut off i was very p.....d off , they didnt say sorry only gave my money back but it totally spoiled it for my wife id never buy from them again no matter how cheap

Good price but sorry have to agree, have found Asda flowers to be poor quality. Sweetheart roses are not the best and in bud?-not great. 18's a strange number too but now I'm nit picking really Good for people on a budget though!

Good point, however... just get them delivered on the 12/13th and then hand them over after they have *bloomed* a bit

You get what you pay for with roses. Asda do sell quality at the top end of their range, I wouldn't give the cheaper range to my worst enemy. You will not get this quality for £19 asda-flowers.co.uk/es-…tml

Then you may as well buy them fresh in store if you're planning on 'handing them over' (_;)

Same here (except is was M&S)....delivered flowers are really pot luck unfortunately and a refund doesn't compensate in the slightest for a less than happy other half.

yes please .... anyone......

£58? oO

All the big supermarkets - asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's, etc have some nice premium bunch of roses in the lead up to Valentines for around £15 give or take a few £'s - best bet if you're planning on personal delivery

Ordered thanks. One less thing to worry about while I figure out what the actual present should be

Might as well buy them instore works out lot cheaper. Small bunch are usually around a fiver. Larger bunch closer to a tenner. Cheap vase/container few quid.

Done.

Anyone know how these will be delivered? eg interflora style of a delivery guy walking in with flowers in hand looking for the recipient or just in an oblong box dumped at reception?

Since from the webpage they're delivered by City Link and sent in a box, I'd assume it was the latter.

Thanks for your reply Karri.

I bet she'll be the envy of all her colleagues when the citylink guy walks in with a crushed box or even better, to come into work and find a 'sorry you were out' card on her desk.

Have to admit I really don't like flowers in a box full stop. Think you have to pay a lot to get the wow factor (hand delivered, good quality) on Valentines Day. If being delivered to work for example, I'd much rather have a single red rose tied with ribbon and in a single stem vase. These are actually quite reasonably priced in many florists (well for Valentines) Guess it depends what you like though-I'm a quality over quantity kinda gal X)

Cheers, sorted for Friday :-)

disspointed, small 18 red roses no balloon or card -:

the card is on the box behind the invoice.....you should complain if the roses are really small.

roses are so small, they could be classed as carnations... half of them have already turned brown. Really disappointed.

They were **** awesome!

Yes most were in buds but that means they will last longer and...the mrs was over the moon when she had them delivered to work!

rock on!

These wew probably the worst flowers that I have ever ordered. very small, some shrivelled and brown abd several broken. The delivery was at 6.15pm and this was possibly amongst tge last to be delivered so this might explain the very poor quality. Theyve probably used the best for earlier deliveries. the whole bunch was upside down in the box.

Rang them and theyve refunded but just spoilt the day. But that wasnt the point. They were embarrassing, and made me feel ashamed. Never again.
