Thanks for posting - I did a search and noticed your thread beforehand, but I thought it might be easier for people to see the deals as separate posts so I went ahead and posted anyway. I hope you don't mind!

Slim but its HUGE!

Not pocket friendly at all but OK for bags.

How long does it take to charge the cheaper?

Ordered it . Massive power pack for long distance travel and hiking or camping

I bought a number of EC Technology products in October and the prices were only a few quid above the current discount prices on Amazon. Don't get me wrong they are great products but the crossed out prices are probably the RRP which no one ever pays.

Why is it these battery packs don't charge all phones I've tried mine with several phones but it wouldn't charge a samsung Ace or a Galaxy Y even tried different cables.

How does this compare to the Anker E5 16,000mAh?

That thing is HUGE.....not particularly portable.

I've got a Tecknet 16000 mAh portable battery that's about 1/4 of the size and cost about £17.

Sorry, cold.

I also bought a couple of their products not long ago. They are OK and good chargers but I don't have a lot of confidence in the seller. Firstly just a couple of weeks after buying the more brick-sized 22000mAh device they bring out v.2 with 3 instead of 2 ports. So that is 'old' kit already. Secondly, they offered a £10 voucher for with sales for further purchase of stuff from their Amazon store. But the voucher was not honoured when I went to use it [happened to lots of others, see their Facebook page]. So I emailed them to ask about this and they replied that I could buy one of their products priced around £10 from Amazon. Eh...? Didn't quite manage to join the dots there. So I just wonder what the seller would be like if you actually have a tech problem. I won't be buying anything else from them for sure.

Cancelled my order too many red flags .

I don't understand how these things work. Can i use a regular usb cable to charge my phone with it? Or do I need to buy a very specific cable for my specific phone type which fits into that micro usb port?

"Too many red flags"? Are you colour blind? Read the reviews (not just on Amazon) and get with the program.

I have the 22400 version and it's never let me down. I've charged my phone (and my friends' phones) many times with it already and it's still got between 50-75% power left (it came fully charged and I've never charged it since so far). It's not too heavy or big but it's something I'd much rather put in my bag than my pocket, even though it does fit into my pocket; it's kind of like a big phone or a phablet, just slightly heavier. I suspect the 18000 will be much smaller and lighter. I don't know why people are complaining about the size - it really isn't that big. The measurements are given on the Amazon page so you can see for yourself beforehand if you're worried.

I need one of these! heat added

Pipe down, enough people have commented here and made it clear the product is sub-par and the seller has poor communication.
