Epic, useful for me who has no tools because people keep on taking them

TBH I'd rather have no tools than these
tat

Cheap tools are very rarely a "hot deal". Most will be one use only, and do more damage than work. The qualtiy of this is suspect not only by the price, but by no mention of a manufacture's name.

I would stay well clear of this.

Bit rich that the 100 screws count to the 189 piece total.

Carbon steel plated.

Not good tools but for the price, assuming you use them once a year it's not bad value.

But will she appreciate it ?

Cheap and won't last, but ok for a few jobs a year

have to agree with some of the other posters whenever I have bought cheap tools thye have always been poor. These do not look that great.

and, of course, in true HUKD style this non-deal will go to 300 degrees.

As others have said... 'cheap' tools but not a bad price for a short-term measure.

I think the make of these tools are Challenger.

No doubt made of cheese.

Such tool snobbery - you'll be saying that women are no good at DIY next ;-)

Why is this a non deal?...try finding 189 tools for that price.

There aren't 189 tools in that kit - the figure is massively padded by screws and screwdriver bits. Even the tools that are included can probably be picked up for about £20 anyway. Realistically you'd be better off spending a little more and only buying the tools you actually need, but getting slightly better quality so they don't snap on the first use.

Includes 168 items you will never use.....handy!

This isn't going to be sufficient for site/contract use, but on the other hand it could be useful for general DIY works and temporary making good before calling in a someone who knows what they're doing (with proper tools). Add some WD40 and duct tape and you could fix almost anything :-) Personally I think it's pretty decent for £20

Don't do it!

I bought the mechanics version a few years ago as a temporary measure, i think the only thing i have left that didn't brake/rust are the allen keys and the crimping tools that are unusable anyway!

i think the rubber from the rubber mallet fell off to!

170 Piece Household Tool Kit for £11.99 instead:thumbsup:

700/1727

Same **** quality but you get a plastic box with a handle instead of a bag:)

Fathers day soon:)

Got mine today and was very happy to have some notables for jobs around the house. But mainly for doing computer thingy stuff :P

Most items looks alright. And while this bigger kit fills my needs, I wish it was all in a case like the smaller kit seems to have. Putting it all in that bag just seems a little...meh. Especially since there are no pockets inside the main part of the bag, so you can't separate things nicely. That alone would've made me see the bag in a better light.

Otherwise, I'm happy. It wasn't particularly expensive for all those items and I'm sure they'll do for jobs every now and again.
