25 pack of 18mm grip it plasterboard fixings for £6.99. This is a very good price for (IMO) the best fixings you can use for plasterboard. Used the 25mm ones recently to hold my TV bracket and 55" TV.

Agree with OP, these are great if you can only mount into plasterboard. Just make sure your plasterboard is held up well!!

Thanks for this, was looking at a solution to put up shelves on my plasterboard wall, wasn't even sure it was doable

I have used plenty of fixings in the past and these are by far the best I have used. They do have others which are like anchors, but that depends on how much room you have behind your plasterboard. These grip it fixings were perfect for when I put the TV up as pretty much directly behind my plasterboard, there are thermal blocks and the gap in between is tiny, so these fitted into my plasterboard perfectly. I did see a 4 pack in home bargains yesterday for £2.79.

Awesome, its Prime price but only a quid more from another seller ... was looking for a Christmas tree and some plasterboard fixings ... 30mins on hukd and everything sorted Cheers OP

No worries Ms84, glad I could help

good price for this quantity

These are great for stud walls but if if the plasterboard has been stuck to blockwork walls then drilling through the plasterboard and into the blockwork will be a far better fixing

You can get a good fixing into thermal blocks by using a screw that's meant to be used in a brown raw plug then drilling a hole using a drill bit for a red raw plug and screwing into the red plug, done this loads of times with heavier items than a tv

Thanks for the tip on this. I was trying to find an alternative, but as the thermal block was pretty flimsy, I didnt really think of trying something else. I will bare this in mind for my next project

Looking good a reviews are good too but the size of the hole you need to drill is what scares me

I used the 25mm ones and your right the holes are pretty big but I use them for the TV bracket and have wall papered over them now so not so bad. If I re decorated then yes there would be 6 gaping holes but at least I could keep an eye on the neighbours

Will these hold up a radiator?
