Didn't know Xiaomi had an 18v phone?

Thanks op, reserved for pick up today
Great find. Hot from me.
Worth buying 2 for a spare battery.
Thanks op, reserved for collection later.
Didn't really need one but ordered just to annoy the misses lol
Me too it's like the best game ever!
Thanks Op.....bought..........don't know why but hey ho

Does anyone know how long the charge will last on these?
2 reviews, seem kind of low to trust that this won't be rubbish like most cheap strimmers are

Looks the same, so some more reviews.
thanks got it... dont even have grass in the garden.... but I might so why not
Ok, just collected it. yeah, its a Mac Allister model.

Put it this way, its WAY cheaper than replacing the battery in my Black and Decker one which is getting weak, it is Li-Ion as opposed to Ni-Cd and it has a 2 year warranty......

......for 35 quid.

pretty solid imo.....will let you know if its good in couple of hours......sunny in NI for once

J
The only thing I note now compared to my B&D strimmer is that there is only one feed out of the head of the strimmer......what that means in real world usage.....who know.

Asking for help.

Seeking a cheap (wired) grass trimmer - with cheap lifetime cost of ownership - and a self feeding spool - that is easy to replace cheaply.

Lib.
Just picked one up. A touch on the short side, but for the price and being cable free I can put up with that. Good enough for what I was after! Thanks!
Just ordered one, looks like a good buy. Thanks.

lol at the above comment.

Ordered, thanks OP.
Sounds good so far, but the comments from b&q website seem to suggest you can't actually buy a proper cable refill for it?

I'm 6ft and its just a little too short for me, its fine for 15mins but longer than that your back will feel it.

You planning on strimming her bush?
60 min charge time with about 5 min usage time, avoid!
Cheaper than replacing my B&D battery! Hot!

Well I bought one earlier and I'm more than happy. Had a cabled one, but never use it because its too much hassle plugging in extensions and fighting with cables. When I seen this I thought for £35 quid it was too good a buy to pass up. Battery charged in less than an hour and then I done both gardens with it without any problems whatsoever. It cut through all the edgings with ease and strimming wire is auto feed so there's no faffing about trying to extend it when it breaks.

Thanks OP

Cobblers.

I ran mine for about 25 minutes earlier on the first charge.............still showing ~50% on the battery but that is probably far from accurate.

Regardless.

Not 5 minutes

Not at all.
I used mine tonight too since I picked it up earlier and it can't be faulted for the price. Maybe after a year or two it's getting ropey but as pointed out above, it's cheaper than a battery for more expensive models.

You're getting mAh and Ah mixed up - 2Ah = 2000mAh
Anyone know if the Worx batteries fit in these? Looks the same in pic
