So I was interested in getting into sustainable living and this is a really easy way to get into it. Bought this solar panel charger with the voucher buy 1 get 30ish quid off. All I want now is some proper sun to actually use it. It can be used to charge phones or devices. However I would recommend that we get a few powerbanks to store the energy from the sun for later use, rather than charging the devices directly.

I guess you didn't noticed that badge of buy 1 get 25% off. Maybe try to log in your account and check it out.

My apologies, I did read that and interpreted it as buy and get a second at 25% off - sorry!

also costs 20x less and more portable than this would be.

This is just absolutely bonkers from a financial viewpoint.

PV solar panels on houses is one thing....this is quite another.

The govt incentive for roof solar (Feed in tariff) made it financially viable. That's been all but took away these days so borderline not worth it.

This, on the other hand, is completely nuts.

These were at good prices during that black Friday deals. They're ideal for anyone who goes camping etc.

This is more for camping/caravanning. Would be sufficient for charging a leisure battery for a few hours of TV viewing and lights, phones etc. Would pay for itself quite quickly with the saving of not having to pay for an electric pitch.

this is 60w for that price seems over the top anyway u could get from the exact same seller the same item at 20w for cheaper e.g. 3 20w ones for 90 plus the discounts so u haven't really looked into this solar panels vs savings malarkey how u.

I used two smaller Suaoki solar chargers on a bike camping tour this summer across Europe. Kept all my devices fully charged everyday, zero running costs. Priceless!

Highly recommend 16W (and above) for camping, touring and general holidays. £89.99 is a bargain for a 60w beast with 18V DC output.
