details above

Good deal, however most of them are clubbing resorts..... I wouldn't take my toddler to Kavos, Malia etc (regardless of price)

thats obv your decision, is a lot quieter this time of year and you be surprised people who take up these deals from people with infants to oaps especially the accomodation that is slightly away from the main strip. not all are filled with noisy people a d the greeks are quite strict generally on noise in apartments at night in smaller famikynowned properties

They are also based on four people, I just check

How do you find cheap holidays like this.....do you use a comparison site? I ask because im looking for next year at the end of july but all i can find are over 3k!

Original Poster

no, no comparison site, just trawl through the main providers.
these are last minute deals though when bargains are at their greatest. there is no incentive for providers to offer cheap holidsays for next year in peak season when they have costed their flight and rooms costs and need to maximise returns.

they deals on offer now are in rooms and flights they have already paid for so they cut holidays costs to try and get. some money rather than an empty room

its unlikely youd find cheap holidays for end of july unless it was a dsay or so before, if at all.
end of june can haahe bargains but not once schools have broke up

whats your number of passengers and breakdown (adukts kids) max budget, prefered location, accom type, airport and duration and ill see what i can find

hi mr whitelable!
it would be 2 adults 2 kids and was hoping to pay around 2k for 10 nights or 2 weeks any where really! preferbly he balearics so its a short flight. we were looking at all inclusive flying from manchester on 25 26 or 27 july but need be back before 10th august.
we went to the travel agents and couldnt find anything under 3k and not much cheaper online

Yes all clubbing resorts. I used to work for Greek Tourist Board on Crete and Zante and these resorts are all aimed at the teenage ,young persons market .I would be very careful as to where you book and certainly not advise for a family.

thanks for posting!

age of the 2 kids, makes a difference for ticketing costs ?
ive guestimated age 6 and 7 and youre looking cheapest 11 days for £1666 total to turkey with Thomas cook
depending on age will vary that either way.
but its not always best to book this far for cheapest price, but is for best accomodation

with olympic for 7 nights in menorca 3* self catering youre looking at £1994, for 10 nights £2475
to mallorca 10 nights looking at £2002 - 3%quidco at the 3* self catering TRH Torrenova which is in palma nova 300 m from the beach, not too far but not in, magaluf. mallorca is a beautiful island to explore so this could be on budget for you

Edit: just noticed you wanted All Inclusive for that price too.. that is a bit ofn n ask

looking at the Sun Club El Dorado in Cabo Blanco region of majorca you could get all inclusive for 10 nights in a superior bungalow for £2378. if you wanted a sea view it would be £2417. 3%quidco avail too with olympic
flights with monarch

Booked a holiday with Olympic last Tuesday and flew out on the Wednesday, getting back today. Like anything it is what you pay for it! Went to Kos for a week for £450 for 3 of us, self catering, but the place had its own pool. Had two boys 7 and 10 and it was all good for them. Spent the days out on trips etc so wasn't fussed about all inclusive as the food we bought out was reasonable and really nice where we ate!! Didn't have any trouble with Olympic myself, but as opposed to booking a general cheap deal, you do get access to a rep that can help with any questions, and organises your transfers and excursions if you wish!! (If you get a good one!!)

My niece went to Zante with Olympic in the Summer. She booked months in advance and still had not received tickets 3 days before take off. They kept lying and saying they had posted them to her. They also kept telling her that she was flying with different airlines. In the end she had to collect the tickets at the airport. It was very stressful for her ( first time holidaying on her own) and also her mum who was worrying that they would be abandoned at the airport with no where to go. When they arrived at the airport there were lots of other unhappy Olympic customers who had also been lied to. Luckily though their tickets were there for them but with a completely different airline to the one they had been told. Not the kind of situation you expect when you have booked months in advance.

one of the ticketing companies olympic used went bankrupt during the summer, the flights were guaranteed with the airlines but from what i read a number of changes last minute were made so that may have been the case that the ticketers told olympic they had been sent when they hadnt
