I honestly love mine, it's such a well made piece of kit and it's half the size of most of my soldering irons; I was able to solder in lest than 4 seconds at 300c.
This looks great, might have to upgrade to this from my current rubbish onr

Worth reading to the end for the "Warm Tips" - what to do and what not to do when it is "wooking".

Yeah you can program the heating /cooling curves on it too
Got one of these a while back - is a little small, but great as a hobby iron! Heats up very quick if paired with a decent power brick.

There is also a voltage cutout so you can run this on a battery pack for field repairs.
I've got one of those cheapo parkside ones from aldi, works spot on for repairing quadcopters and building astro cameras. Why does a soldering iron need accelerometers?!

Detects if it hasn't moved for a while and shuts down.
Isn't banggood a Chinese site? How long do they normally take to deliver?

They have an EU warehouse, which is actually in the UK, so you have some choice there!

I paid about £2 extra to get mine from the UK (As I really needed to solder); all my other orders from China took about 10 days to arrive so far.

I have been buying too much from them recently (I've posted quite a few of my finds on HUKD)

Mine's still going strong; @400c this thing blazes through soldering jobs
Having got mine, I needed to buy the right plug and adapt an old laptop power supply... but the iron is really good heats up really quick.
If this gets dispatched from the warehouse in China is it likely to get hit with import tax? I haven't ordered from Banggood before.
