They are doing a Black Friday deal, £37 a month for 24 months with 5GB of data a month. Don't know if it's a good deal or not.

It still applies...telegraph.co.uk/bus…ts/

I'm not saying they haven't necessarily found a way round it, just highlighting what Smith was referring to

Do the 24 month option then, you pay slightly less overall

The offer is a lie unfortunately. Only the XA1 model is eligible for £19 a month. Also - don't bother going for the XZ premium as they will accept your order and on the day of delivery you'll phone to see what is happening (for the order shows as active in your account) and be told that you never qualified for the xz premium and try and force you to take a lesser phone and contract. You won't be able to complain because they make that very difficult and seemingly wilfully (or incompetently) fail to grasp the error of their ways. That is, not advising you that you might not actually get the phone you want or that they won't even bother to TELL you. Coupled with that, they also mis-advertise their tariffs on the XZ £24pm 40GB data. Call centre advise should be £34. Online chat advise £28. Arse from elbow. Avoid.

Update: Since I have been moaning at them the prices seem to have been updated.

Link just takes me to the virgin media site, not the deal or mobile site?

I trust you have sent Trump a tweet to inform him of the decline of this green and peasant filled land.

Sony Xperia XZ is a decent phone but it's a 2016 flagship Sony phone and used it's only selling for £179 I know as I bought one a few months ago, so it's possible it's old stock. The XZ1 is the latest and better spec. I'd do the sums first before shelling out.

You can't currently, closest I can find from the same supplier I used is £199 they're all unlocked, the one I purchased was cheaper as it's locked to EE. Smartfonestore is the place I bought mine.

Spotted this on tv yesterday and thought it might be a good deal, then I saw the 36 months, THEN I saw 'phone loan'. Does this jot mean they still own the phone like the new sky mobile promotions? If so it's not only a bad deal but it's almost luring people in with dodgy advertising or is like a refresh contract?

I bought one a few weeks ago from Ebay, refurbished from limetropic i.e second-hand phones. Com

I just got the J3 with the Telly Tablet for £15 per month
I discussed this and the phone and tablet are mine. No loan. No lease.

Also. The XZ is different from the flagship XZ Premium, which is £26 per month with the PS4

Link to XZ Premium

Add to this. J3 and tablet came next day. The contract is 24 months at 14 quid and £1 for the airtime. £1 for 300 mins and 1.2GB data!!
