Never had these, will cancel my amazon order for Starbucks pods and see what they’re like!

I have tried a few of these before, and personally think they are the next best thing to Nespresso pods. Not quite the intensity as Nespresso, but a good second choice - I use these when having friends over as they cannot tell the difference.

They work better in the nespresso machines than the Starbucks ones. They are made of aluminium so no plastic odour or smell too
The Lor capsules are good .. not as good as the Starbucks (which are not up there with nespresso) but better than other clones .. They are £2 for each 10 pack at your local Tesco’s .. so not a great deal IMHO unless you really want glass cups
If you sign up first and use the 5 off it brings order to £36.64 which is cheaper than buying at the supermarket and you get 2 free glasses aswell.

Usually have 10 packs in pound stretcher for a £1, no where near as good as the originals or even morphy richards.

Agree with you, got some on offer that was on here, they really are awful.
These are still almost 22p a pod. These are often on offer for £2 for 10 in supermarkets.
Granted you get glass cups but that's not a seeing point for me personally

Surprised you don't like the Morphy Richards pods. I am a regular drinker of the After Dark and Kick Start varieties and quite like them. At less than 12p a pod, I think they are some of best compatibles on the market. I accept that if you don't like them then you don't like them in which case the cheap price doesn't really matter.

My wife, on the other hand, prefers the Ristretto ones from Aldi which came out top as a Which Best Buy last year. I guess we all have our preferences. I must say that I was quite close to trying a pack of these from my local Tesco this morning. At £2 a packet of 10, they aren't too expensive.
These are not exactly the same as those ones on offer in Tesco. Lots more varieties than in the supermarket. I’ve ordered few days ago with the £5 off for singing up to the newsletter, good price and good coffee. Amazon has offers on these, £17 for 100 capsules if you use subscribe and save, but only the supermarket varieties.

i signed up to the newsletter but no code.
Kenco ones (aliminium pods) are £3.50 (20) at poundworld, I think they are a fiver at Sainsburys. I think poundland also has a more extensive range of the basic ones 4 types now for £1.50 (10).
When I tried the L'or plastic ones they were a bit leaky in terms of grounds coming through, not tried the aliminum one yet. Probably worth trying a smaller batch first.
free gifts changed to 20more pods
