Maybe helpful the include the size (how many litres it holds) in the title OP

Edited....its 3.5 litres.... thanks
It's a good price for this model, but I'd be more inclined to go for this one in Argos. £3 cheaper, same size, higher wattage, good reviews.

Same size but not the right shape for a large joint of meat.
6L in wilko £18
3.5L is too small for me. If I'm gonna make something in a slowcooker, I want to be able to eat for 3 nights and then freeze another 3. Get 6L. Also not sure how this is a good deal? Seems about the normal price for a slowcooker.

Looks pretty much the same to me. I didn't realise that large joints of meat came in a standard shape anyway. Certainly not from my butcher.

Same price in Hughes if that is easier for you.
these are good maybe get the larger size depends on your needs but what makes this good is that you can use the pot on the hob to brown meat or start your meal off and then place it in the slow cooker to finsih off.

Are you sure? Most slow cookers specifically say they will crack if used on the hob or oven. The few that are suitable, normally have this well-stated.

EDIT: I've just checked the instructions and they indeed do say not to be used on a hob etc.

The morphy Richards is more of an oval shape vs the argos that is round

This (Sear and Stew Slow Cooker,) is the one with with an aluminium pot that can be used on a hob. It is £17.99 and I just ordered it. I am not sure which one is better though (ceramic vs aluminium). But I chose it because the lid is dishwasher safe in this model.
