Awesome deal!

Don't believe them all. Biggest enforcer of must give 5 star reviews or you won't get your money back. They've had so many accounts now and many closed due to review manipulation it is shocking

Such a big Black Friday discount this was £24.99 a while back too

Not bad but I wouldn't call this a Black Friday level saving at all as they have been £25 before, I think they usually go to this price but sometimes there is an additional voucher tick box that takes them to £25.

I got them at £25 and for that price they are a bargain, but while sound is perfectly respectable they have a made to a low cost feel about them, hard to explain, first thing I noticed is they are VERY light for their size, use a fixed non-replaceable short mains lead (though to be fair a lot of stuff does) making them awkward to use far from a socket and the connecting cable between the speakers is just basic speaker wire. This is a double edged sword as it means it is very easy to replace if you want a larger distance between them but the connection is not as solid as say it would be with RCA jacks and I found that I had to lock down the clips on the main right speaker a good few times before they actually stayed down, a couple of other reviews mention this so I don't think mine is faulty.

If you need a set of speakers right now maybe get them, if you can wait I would hang on and see if they hit £25 again or look for a better set, though to be fair you would be looking at a considerable price jump....
Very good...

Just wondering what kind of speaker wire you were expecting?

Like I said I think RCA to RCA type connectors would be a more stable connection. Even if they had just used spring clips on both speakers it would be better imho but the latching system on the right speaker seems very prone to coming loose.

Not terrible or anything just a way in which it reveals its rather cheap build. But so long as the price reflects it, it's ok....

The main speaker with power contains the amplifiers. The one that's connected with speaker cable is just a passive speaker.
3-way binding posts would be ideal but what can you do

Thanks for the info I already placed an order and hopefully it might sound decent for the price. Worst case when their price drop badly, I could return the 1st pair and order a new one, couldn't I?

It's not free though, to return to Amazon if you just change your mind?
The speakers came yesterday sounds ok for me for that price
