Min top-up is £5, but you could have 5 x £1 1GB packs !

Ok so this seems like a good deal if you want internet for a USB dongle or tablet or even mobile phone. Could be used for that holiday in UK or business trip or the kids ?

£1 for 1GB data which lasts for 30 days
In theory once you used that just top up another 1GB and so on..so in theory you could have 5GB data for a month for £5 which seems a good deal on PAYG

Here is some options on getting the sim card.. one via the high street and the other two online:

Option 1:
Buy a sim card for £1 a poundland which comes with £10 credit for calls and texts and internet (although you will need to topup the sim to buy a bundle for internet as the credit can not be used for this so it will charge you per mb from the £10 which wont give you the deal). So the £10 which is on the sim card can not be used for this offer its just free credit for other things.

Option 2:
Buy a sim card from vectonemobile direct for £5 and get £5 credit on it.. other options available too

Option 3:
Get a free sim card from vectonemobile direct and then topup at a shop or online for £5 and above

You can top up at most stores
vectonemobile.co.uk/sup…spx

You can topup online as well with £5 and above - make sure you untick auto topup !!

NOTE: Internet can’t be used with Blackberry phones

Used EE Network

I have just got one of these today and it works fine for me

Can you (or someone else) please clarify what the loaded £10 credit can be used for and how exactly it works. Sorry. am a little confused...oO

The £1,000,000 question: does it allow tethering?

Wow, the prices on this sim are very reasonable! 1gb is pretty good for a squid, I wonder if that is going to be the price for a while and what connection is like.
I was also looking at the monthly plans, for £10 you get 1000 minutes, 1000 texts and 1gb internet. That is very good imo.

QuickProfits

Three is 1p per mb too right? since July.

And your point is? 1gb would then cost you £10.....

The £10 credit on the sim card from poundland can be used for calls, texts and internet but only on a per use rate. you can not buy bundles with the free credit. Therefore the £10 could be used at the current prices per min, per text and per mb as per their T & C's / price page.
The £1 1GB bundle needs to be done from a topup only or credit you have purchased

I'm just saying this deal is 10 X better

Nice can I stick this in a 3G PS Vita? Surely the perfect SIM Option for the Vita?

That is very nice - but are we sure this is not just a temporary offer?

Original Poster

That i cant answer.. not sure when the offer will finish so it maybe a case of use it while you can and buy another bundle for £1 once the other runs out. I dont think you can buy multiple's at the same time but not tried.. say purchase 2 x 1gb £1 packs at same time for 2GB ?.. dont know if that will work or not ?

This is still a £5 deal and not £1

Was about to like that, but realised you are wrong (even if so nearly right); existing customers can benefit for £1.

You can only top up 1gb every 30 days or 3gb/month for £12

Can someone help? I currently buy the Three SIM which comes with 1gb preloaded data for 30 days. How do I get same deal here, what exactly do I need to do? Also, is it a micro SIM? Thanks.

The sim card comes as a standard / micro sim (not nano though as you have order that)
You would need to purchase or order a free sim card, then topup and activate your 1gb internet as per the website instructions

Thanks for your reply. But if I order a free standard SIM it seems the minimum topup is £5 not £1?

Go for an Ovivo sim pay £20 and get £15 credit plus a free 1.5GB/month

According to their t&c's you can ONLY use it in a mobile and not for tethering:

This offer is only for UK PAYG Vectone Mobile customers.
To check balance dial *1252#
To Stop pockets dial *1160#
You can only subscribe to one internet add-on per month.
Promotional credit (credit which Vectone has given to customers for free) cannot be used to buy a bundle.
125MB internet add-on is valid for 24 hours from date of purchase; 250MB internet add-on is valid for 7 days from date of purchase; 1GB add-on is valid for 30 days from date of purchase.
Data pocket will be auto renewed once the validity expires. To opt out, call Customer Service on 322 or 020 7179 0134.
If you exceed the bundle limit, you’ll pay our standard Pay As You Go rates.
Data cannot be used to tether your phone to other devices.
Rates published are based on full usage of the allowance of units during the validity period.
Vectone reserves the right to terminate or change this offer and terms and conditions at any time.

Good Find!

I think it's 500 mb with Ovivo but remember it's a one of payment which gives you 150 mins/300txts/500mb every month for free.

How do you dial *8811# to top up from a tablet?

I thought the promotion on 1.5GB only last for 1 month and will revert back to 750mb the following month?

Hot.

Is this deal like Ovivo but using a carrier signal that actually works? (Vodafone is crap)

Three is unlimited internet for £15 a month, with a fair use of 9,999 GB.
That makes it 666gb per £1.

This would be handy for my dual sim phone, if it's £1 each month.

No 4G ? still hot !!

Will this work in a tablet?
