I know you don't get a great deal of meat in them but for less than 2 quid a kilo of chicken is perfect for a cheap curry. Don't know if it's national or just local to me. All the packets on the shelf were still a week in date so good for freezing too!

No one at the store knew if the deal was nationwide.

Didn't even bring your own bag. Tut tut
These are always this price. Same for whole chicken (£1.79 to £1.85 per kilo depending on size).
we stopped buying chicken from aldi/ lidl as they all went off within a day or two after purchase.

We use it often and never had any problems
I agree. I bought the same thing at the same price from Lidl. All looked sanitised and the expiry date was 5 December 2017. On the 2nd, it stank the whole fridge! Never again!

Same as I won't buy £3 a whole chicken from Tesco as the skin split and the flesh not fresh. Perhaps ?Sisters staff picked them up from the bin the re-labelled the chicken..
aym, most supermarket chickens come from 2Sisters, even organic, so it doesn't really matter where you buy. It's hit and miss. The best thing is to cook them straight away or freeze them.
