Hmmm I wonder, maybe people with a reasonable IQ are becoming more aware of grave humanitarian and environmental concerns

Which store? I didn’t see them in my local today, so must be the ones who have any stock left

For anybody that likes Nutella but wants to cut out the palm oil, try the gu spreads. They are delicious.
I warn you though, they are a bit difficult to stop eating!

Child labour is something that the respective country's government need to sort out. Unfortunately in the past when the British tried to run other countries it did not end to well.

It actually did end very well, it was the incomming governments like Robert Mugabe who fouled up

So don't eat it?

I haven't knowingly eaten a Nestle product for over 25 years due to humanitarian and environmental concerns. I don't comment on every post about Branson pickle, or San Pellegrino, or Buxton water, or the many obvious Nestle products to remind people about their child labour lawsuit or their Thai slavery abuses.

And don't get me started on their one use disposable coffee drinks and plastic bottles.

Point being I don't type Nestle's crimes on every deal posted for their cheap cereal as I know people are very unlikely to be swayed by a throw away 1 liner on a money saving website.

Enjoy your Nescafé ☕
Child labour, palm oil, who gives a ****. If you like it buy it in bulk and devour it and ignore the preachers who jump on any band wagon that will have them !

Yes it's loaded with palm oil but at least they are trying to use the most sustainable pa oil they can. Lots on the Nutella website but obvs not a trustworthy source on its own, so WWF rating of their efforts palmoilscorecard.panda.org/che…ero

Being able to spell is not a sign of intelligence. But I guess you already new that given your higher level of it.

Writting is a method of communication, whether I wrote nutlelea, Nutella, or nuttellla any reasonably intelligent person will know what I am referring to and my message will be conveyed, so why does the spelling matter?

The spelling matters, or the sentence is pointless. Spelling and grammar are both a sign of a good education, which one cannot attain without intelligence. I should also point out, that had you not made a silly remark about my comment, I’d not have made the quip about the error. Tit for tat old boy.
Broc_Mudflap24/09/2019 21:37

Basically don’t get your panties in a twist about what others decide to spend their money on.
Now that's what you call a bargain.

From a European point of view isn't virtually all agricultural produce produced on land cleared of forest? England and Germany for example must be up there in the true eco disaster most deforested countries in the world musn't they?

(From memory I think Burundi and Haiti are very deforested, but many European countries must be really high up the list.)

When I read such terrible spelling, I instantly imagine a Wayne and Waynetta Slob character is trying to write a comment.
People who have been around for a few decades but haven’t managed the basics of reading and writing are either lazy learners or have a terrible memory.
If you asked someone to touch their nose and they touched their big toe, then you would think that they were a complete idiot and disregard much of what they said about anything else.
Some people are the same when people don’t know the difference between knew and new or writing and writting.
It matters if you want others to take your comments seriously or write you off as an idiot.

I realise you don’t care though

So basically you are saying that you care more about the way something is said than what is actually said.

There are many reasons that could attribute to poor writing, lazyness and poor memory are two of them along with conditions like dyslexia or maybe the fact that not everyone's first language is English. None of which make anyone less intelligent or their arguments less valid.
A lot of politicians have perfect English but their opinions are worth less than the noise coming out of a donkeys behind.

I am not talking about people with dyslexia or people from other countries though.

People who write ‘brought’ instead of ‘bought’ (as in purchasing something) or people who can’t be bothered to remember the difference between ‘there’, ‘their’ and ‘they’re’. Mothers on the bus taking their “Liccle ones to Hospical for a Pacific illness”.

It’s just as annoying as the “ Yeh Bruv innit doe Ya get me fam......fire ....fire.... is it ......is it check urself innit it’s benefits day I’m off to get paid Bruv”

I personally think we should do our best to preserve our language which is just my opinion but many can’t be bovvered fam!

'But I guess you already new that'? Do you mean 'knew that'?

What is 'writting'?

Grammar is important because it provides information that helps the reader's comprehension. It is the structure that conveys precise meaning from the writer to the audience.
