I really don't think that the majority of purchasers really care.
Costco hazelnut spread same cocoa, same hazelnut amounts no palm oil (although palm oil is the most sustainable for planet at 9 times yield of next highest oil) around £3.50 for 2 x 1kg.

It's simply not the same.

It's not horrible, but when you've been eating something for 30 odd years it's a difference that's very noticeable.

I tried that but my kids didn't like the texture they said it's not as thick as Nutella, and switched back to Nutella,

Yeah my youngest likes it because he can spread it. It's just the different oil I think. Made in Germany apparently so I'm guessing same factory
