Thanks

Asda has been selling 4 different tins at £4 each for a while. Also I know someone who is involved in manufacturing QS and he says that it costs about £6 a tin to manufacture so a loss leader at this price.

Asda's Quality Street tins are 1kg, same as this.

These tins used to be much bigger, I remember when I was a lad.....(_;)

The cost price of the TINS are £1.50, the rest is history.

great price,,any idea how long the offer is on for?

he been sniffing glue? £6 to manufacture one tin LMAO

All Quality Street tins are 1KG, it's the other brands which are around 750-850G

Theres a reason theyre 1kg.. cus nobody likes them as much and they cant get rid of them fast enough

I must admit we've not gone for QS this year, their sort of getting a bit boring now, especially all those coconut ones that they always seem to give you a surplus of. There's never enough of the strawberry and orange cremes.. Gone for Celebrations and Segsations this year...

To many toffees! how many varieties do you need, they only get thrown away anyway!

Excellent, always get some tins of sweets in for Christmas, that's if they last that long, they'll last about 10 minutes if my OH finds them!
Thanks, heat added!

£6 a tin - I find that very hard to believe. After all overheads for nestle, plus VAT, transportation, etc - they would be making **** all.

Silly mongs getting worked up about size of the tins. It's about the quality of the chocolate that is important. More, for less, is not always best

roses are much better than quality street
really hate it when someone buys me a tin of these, bet money on it them bloody penny toffees are responsable for many loose teeth!

Sweet(excuse the pun)have some heat!

Maybe we should start up a quality street exchange. Im quite happy to take all the coconut or toffee ones instead of throwing them all away

Blasphemy, the toffees are the best bits. The coconut ones are the problem.

NO, NO, NO...save the carp ones up for the trick or treaters next year.

Celebrations are the worst in my book - always leave about 80 bounties at the end. Does anyone actually like them?

cheap way to pile on the pounds if ur need to put weight on HOT

@tobybutlet1 Bounties are the best! Much better than the QS coconut ones. I do love coconuts ya kno?

nice deal, hot from me. I love these (to give away (_;)) Will go tonight to get some

Hold your fire - these will hit £3.50 before Christmas if previous years are anything to go by
