Bought those last year and after we had eaten the strawberries I lined the tray and used it to grow some seeds , lasted the summer outside
Good deal. But I think I will wait for the first British batch. Not because I’m patriotic but I think they taste better..!
Strawberries from Spain and Morocco are the grimmest of grim. No matter how tasty they look. Sometimes barely nicer than biting into raw potatoes.

Must be all the snow and ice we had recently lead to a bumper crop...?!?!?!

These are Spanish strawberries.
So the rain in Spain mainly fell on us in the form of snow and hailstones.

Or 'The rain in Spain falls mainly on the (strawberry) plain.'
Just been on the trip to 3 different Tesco - all gone
Grabbed a punnet tonight from the Padiham store, last one there. My eldest goes through an incredible amount of strawberries - she's the worlds fussiest eater but loves them so she can fill her boots. Good when these deals come around as they're a decent size for the price.
Wow
Is this national?
Not in central London.

Warmth given.
That's a load of strawberries!
Someone must have executed the wrong macro on their spreadsheet
I'm so sorry for the cold vote. The new style of the app makes it so easy to accidentally press the + or - when scrolling deals. Have some verbal 🔥 🔥 instead

Thanks, the rights just don’t come out words sometimes
Lots in Edinburgh today. Not a fan of Spanish strawbs though, never as sweet as uk ones
These indeed are very yummy, well worth £4.
At last, the European strawberries are coming, soon a bit of sun then the English and Dutch ones will be here

Yes,I agree they are tasteless, only use them to make smoothies with lots of honey ..bit biased ,but home grown are the best ...
Nothing wrong with a good Spanish strawberry when bought from the local Spanish Market, they probably just don't travel well.
I usually don’t like the strawberries from Tesco, you usually get at least 10% that are mushy and horrible. But I got a tray of these and they are all spot on and actually taste fantastic. Good work Spain 🇪🇸 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

some poor sod had to make sure that each strawberry is upright in the tray 🙈🙈
Love strawberries - eat them daily with breakfast. Just got 700g - two 350g punnets - for 3 quid in Morrisons this morning.
At least easier to check quality of all than with a kilo pack.
Morrisons work out at 0.428p per 100g,
Tesco are 0.40p per 100g.

Tesco doesn't sound quite so big a deal now, so lukewarm.

actually it's easier to check 1kg as all packed as 1 layer all facing up.

Maybe cos they’re grown using hydroponics
Got these yesterday, some freakishly large strawberries and rather lacking in flavour, but all the same a pretty good buy.

The opposite; it seems.
Typically these cheap ones seem to be overly-tart; presumably they travel and keep better when firmer.
These are lovely, and even cheaper as I managed to pick them up reduced to clear on Friday for £2, still in date for another 2 days!
