Pure squeezed and not from concentrate. Bargain in my opinion.

Lovely stuff - but not that cheap in mine.
Got some today - on offer at 79p which is still a good price for this quality juice

Better than some of the branded stuff. Hot from me.

not on offer in mine earlier when I bought it. really nice juice

Was this in a NI or UK store or perhaps a recently opened store? 79p in mine.

Scotland Blantyre store mate and not recently opened that for sure.

79p for 70cl in my Lidl - didn't see any litre bottles

Best stores own juice I've had, as good if not better than Tropicana.

I prefer freshly squeezing oranges these days.
For 99p , you can get 4 x oranges. Squeeze 2 to have a glass of tasty juice. Add 1/2 tsp of salt for added flavour

Half a tablespoon of salt for two oranges? Sounds really unhealthy and hardly great for the blood pressure oO

79p in my lidl but I also had the £5 of voucher so I can't complain haha

Thanks for your lifestyle update. If you feel contributing anything meaningful that would be great.

Also, I don't want to spend 10 minutes a day getting myself juice for the princely sum of £15 a litre.

But thanks for letting us know oranges can be squeezed for juice.

59 in 2 separate Glasgow stores ( duke st and tollcross )

Hot, great price normaly 99p-£1.10 .

Tastes as good as (or better than) Tropicana/Innocence orange juice.

I'm in full agreement with you there. Here in Spain I used to by a bag of 5 kilo of oranges for about £1.60 and then squeeze them down but when I found these in Lidle for about 75p for 750 ml I said goodbye to my squeezer and now buy these instead getting 3 good size drinks every morning and now they are down to about 60p a bottle over here, every day price. Brilliant deal for all.

Was 79p yesterday in my local Lidl (Hampshire). Agree if you can get it for 59p, it's very hot!

So you destroy any benefit the orange might have, by lacing it with SALT? Are you suicidal or something?

much better than the "big brands" cheers op heat added

I would buy 100 for orange juice bath but I don't want to park my car in Lidl.

I hate bits in my juice, but this is a great deal!

Lidl have really come on these last few years.

It's 79p in Liverpool (_;)

Good deal. Maybe just a Scottish deal.

Please feel free to explain how you best utilize your time in the whole day that you cannot set aside 10 mins. to squeeze 2 oranges. If you want to drink flavoured water, be my guest. Oh, and you can't put a price on your personal wellbeing.

Embarrassed of your car?
Don't worry: a car does not define you.

Remind me how your squeezed fructose water is better than bottled fructose water?

It would be fresher.

Interesting discussion but the point is this is a very good price for a quality 'processed' OJ when compared to the so called premium brands that have been conning us for years! Doesn't make out it's any better just comparable and cheaper........a la HOT UK DEAL!

Any deals on Blood Orange Juice? I'm thirsty.

Define fresh fructose liquid...at what point do you consider it to be less fresh? If I squeezed a glass and then put it in the fridge for an hour...would it magically be less fresh?

Do you have a standard for freshness...after all we are not talking about baked goods. It's juice.

Oh right, you want to get into it do you?

I'm measuring the freshness in terms of the amount of time that has passed since it was squeezed from the orange.

As in the dictionary definition of fresh:

(of food) recently made or obtained; not tinned, frozen, or otherwise preserved.

If it was just fructose water then every fruit juice would taste the same.

Subjected my family to a blind taste test between this and Innocent OJ. They preferred Lidl's. All part of my long term plan to ween them off brands. Next project: Heinz tomato soup.....

Yes let's get into it.

How about you start by answering my actual questions. When do you think fructose water stops becoming fresh?

Every fruit juice would not taste the same. Apples do not taste like oranges for instance. Seville Oranges taste different from Florida variety. But don't let facts get in the way of you telling us your breakfast habits.

Do you mill your own flour and draw water from a well in your garden? Are trying to live like one of the Starks from Winterfell?
