For some people why are low PAYG users, this *may* be important:
"To keep your account and SIM active, just make at least one £10 top-up every 120 days"
My grand dad had this sim. Calls not always connected, but charged-you need to dial number 3-4 times to get through, but are charged for every attempt. Text delivery is hit and miss too; sometimes it takes 2 days for text to arrive. And worst of all-credit melts as ice in the sun-you have £5.90 in the evening and only £5.11 left it the morning- no calls or texts sent and data connection is off. I would avoid this company! Not reliable at all. Three has 1-2-3 tariff which is best for low users. And Three Data Award Sim gives 200MB for free each month too.

Seems good to me
Came here to see if this would be a good SIM to replace the ee one I use in my router to fail over to incase of a network outage, 4 months is a bit too often. But if you have sporadic usage which spends your topup by the end of the 4 months then this is for you. Would be good for a intercom too.

Is 1p per mb a good deal when you use 2GB data max or is a sim only better?

Looks good as my EE sim only contract expires in June.
Can I keep my current number please?

Thanks @cbatten . I was aware of this but many may not be; thanks for the reminder
Yeah I have had this SIM since Jan, great for me, topped up £10 in Jan and again last week, any money you have left carries over, I think you get a £5 extra with first top up, I did anyhow

A sim only would be better for 2gb usage PM. This is better for sporadic usage over the course of 4 months. Nanny mogsog will love it!

2GB data is going to cost you £20. You can get much better SIMO deals, search HUKD SIMO Deals thread here.
Worth checking HERE mobile availability.

I Use O2 as EE signal was non existent in house.

Agree have been using this for several months and have not experienced any issues with texts being sent in a timely manner and calls being connected reliably. My SIM is in a device that makes a number of regular calls and sends text updates. Billing is simple and my usage in calls and texts is slightly under the min top up of £10 in 4 months but that's still a good deal for my pattern of usage.

I don't use data, but for those complaining of random usage and credit melting away I suggest you look at your data usage.
This is good if you only use 250 minutes per month, I use upto 500 so in that scenario iD is better for me as 4gbp pee month or 12gbp over the same time. You can't think of this as a rate tart deal as you have to credit every four months. So then a bit of maths a three or O2 never expiring deal gives you 333 minutes divide that by 4 gives you 83 minutes. If you know you will use above 83 minutes but below 300 this is the deal for you. Heat for the deal but it is only for a specific usage. Rate tarts only use free WiFi.
Got this and never had any issues,£10 credit is never used up by 4 months in my case and im due to top up next week and they just add it on to remaining credit, would recommend this sim and company

I had this exact same problem with three on their 321 plan credit was getting lower all the time even when I hadn't used my phone it would be one thing in the evening I'd go to bed not use my phone and in the morning it would be lower even though I had not used it this happened all the time which is why I left them in the end I'd rather pay up front and know what I'm paying

Totally agree, have been with them over 12 months now and never had any problems - the customer service is in the UK and are excellent. Have got 2 SIM cards in my name one for me and one for a member of my family, a very low user, when I topped my number up in April it did the 4 months, next top up August, but when I topped the other number up a couple of weeks later, the next top up is December - so not sure how that works - but you know where you are with them, easy to track usage online. Can't recommend them enough.
It is only good for text and data , otherwise you pay £10 for 1gb data . That is very expensive as how easily you can use 1gb or more data .

If you know that you are going to use a lot of data over the next 30 days you can get a one off data booster package.

Think about it... 2gb at 1p/min will cost you £20.
I used ID for a few weeks while I was searching for a good deal on iPhone 7 last year. For what I paid, it's not a bad network at all.
Been with them 6 months, cannot fault it

2gb = £20 quite expensive!
I've been using this service for the last month. It's good value, the EE network is the same as used by Virgin mobile so good coverage. But 1p a minute is considerably better than Virgin's PAYG. I typically spend £20 per year on Virgin, so this for me has so far been a great deal. Plus the website is quickly kept up to date.

Network they use is EE and pretty good coverage . But this virtual operator is not that good. I used their sim for 3 weeks too, to give it a test drive and all I said in previous post is true and experienced by myself. To add, roaming is non existent on this sim. Tried in France, Germany, Poland , Lithuania and Spain; -wont register on network in Germany and Spain, saying "No Service" in other countries it registers on network, but wont allow to call, saying "service is not allowed by your provider" and incoming calls hit and miss too- missed 70% of incoming calls.... Internet works-no problem at all.

After 3 months using as my main line i am happy. The cover is better than my previous operators and the fare suit me perfectly because i dont use data. My only problem was with the referee i used, but they add me the credit manually.
Seems perfect for my mum who only uses around 90 mins of calls a month (no text and no data).. Better than the Plusnet £4.95 a month contract I have for her now which is 600 mins lots of txts and 500mb data which is still a waste
Although its more expenisve -also look at O2 pay as you go now 3p call 2p text 1p mb data

depending what you use more ie a small bit of data for football results and whatsapp then O2 just as good and no need to top up every 120 days - £10 could last a year with O2
I've used this SIM in my house alarm for the last year or so. Never had a problem with it. It only ever send/receives texts though, so I have no idea if voice calling is ok.
Heat from me.
... not forgetting there is a 14 day money back guarantee if you are not happy
been reliable for me used successfully for six months uses 3g network EE relatively cheap cost effective sim well worth it
My wife & I both changed to 1p mobile about a year ago as we were experiencing network coverage problems with Giffgaff's O2. Our experience has been very positive - I have a dual sim phone and ran my old Giffgaff sim and my new 1p mobile side by side for a few months and always had a usable EE (1p Mobile) signal in places where the O2 (Giffgaff) signal had dropped out. No issues whatsoever with calls not connecting or texts not being received. Usage is displayed clearly online and data use can be displayed on an 'hour by hour' basis if required. We both use roaming in Spain on a regular basis. I had initial problems with roaming , but that was down to an incorrect API setting, which, once rectified, connected to Spanish networks OK. My wife's phone always automatically connects to a roaming service while I sometimes need to connect manually, so I suspect this is caused by individual phone settings rather than a problem with 1p Mobile. Customer service is second to none - I have used their online help service on a few occasions and have had issues (i.e. my Incorrect API setting) resolved in minutes. Heat from me !

I suspect that would have been background apps using mobile data, not dark forces at work.

Old people know how to count money pal. He never used internet too and internet was off all the time.
Always feel like you may as well get a cheap <£5 a month deal and save the hassle. Unless you use your phone once a week.
