£10 for the Sim that gives you £10 credit

  • 1p per txt, 1p per minute and 1p per MB
  • 4G DATA
  • Of course its only 1p in the EU also now
  • Tethering Allowed
  • Keep you number
  • Credit Rolls Over
  • UK Support
  • No contract at all - not even 30 days

Must top up just £10 every 120 days (4 months) or equivalent £2.50 per month top up. Not a lot really and will get used to it.

Data boosts if you think you will use a lot of data.

Roaming in europe at the same prices as the UK.
Calling virtually anywhere worldwide is just 20p a minute and 9p for euro destinations.

Roaming around the world as well to use up extra credit that you might have built up. Cheapest worldwide roaming i've seen.

Click through TCB and get a 2GB data boost enter code V2GBB at the checkout and by the looks of it you get the £5.25 back as well

Do anyone know which network provider they piggyback on?

Just answered my own question, it's EE

That’s pretty expensive overall.
Good price. The cheapest always was 3 with their PAYG tariff 123.
Been with them since early January with 2 SIM cards and have had no major problems thus far.

The one big thing I would point out is their huge list of 07 mobile number that are classed as personal numbers and charged at 30p a minute. I assume they are numbers for all the mobile networks registered in the British Isles?

Data boosters are reasonably priced IMO and last for 30days.

And their £2.5 min top-up a month works out very well for me. I don't have to top-up again until April 2019, unless I use up my existing credit before that.

Just depends what usage suits you! Didn't realise if you use a higher topup then you can for instance just do the £30 and thats it for a year? Thought you had to top up every 120 days regardless

All networks have 0744 0755 etc these are forwarding numbers. They do say these numbers are being reallocated but yeah would be a shock if you got done by one of these. It does say it does NOT include standard mobile number ranges.

At least they are upfront about it

Yes, that is correct. The higher the top-up, the longer the SIM stays active. Having topped-up the SIM card will stay active even if you do not make/receive any calls during the period and the credit does not expire either, unless you let the SIM card itself be deactivated.

Perfect for low usage customers.

Had no idea about the higher top up thing! I've been with them for ages now, the tariff suits me and my needs, never had any problems, used the 'recommend a friend' too and that's always worked. It's a great service for low users like me.

This is good for basic low use . . . and at only 1p a minute even a low user won't mind chatting at a penny a minute. Works on cheap 2G phones unlike 3 sim ,321

Some people use a phone for making phone calls. Weird I know.
As minimum £2 .50 top-up is required effectively it's monthly contract.
Better of going with cheap contract on uswitch starting at £3.99

Rubbish it's ideal for low users
Alternatively, virgin media have 6gb for £10/m. 1024mb/1gb would be a tenner here...this must to trick people?
Don't believe that.i had same with O2...1p mb more like 20p per page

Unless you only call and text less than 399 in mins and texts Great for the likes of alarm dialling sims. Not many sims you can keep going for £2.50 a month
Cold, only way this would be hot is if the credit did not disappear or require a top-up.

As said by others, this is just a word play on a £2.50 monthly contract.

You have to explain to me how £3.99 is better than £2.50.

That’s what I intend to use it for - £2.50 a month gets me a check text to my phone each day, plus a text on arming and disarming the alarm. Most days that’ll be less than 8 texts, so this contract is perfect. And I can just chuck £30 on it and know it’s good for the year. Perfect.

If you build up loads of credit then just use it for roaming in non eu countries

Well my burglar alarm is unlikely to be heading off on its holidays any time soon, but if it does at least it can call me to let me know it’s safe and having a good time.

Why would your burglar alarm be going on holiday? Please tell me i'm intrigued
If I use outside UK will it work for same or other network? I mean counting minutes or international rates be higher?
If you use 200mb data, the Three data rewards SIM has it for free (£2 value on 1p mobile). Same cost for calls, though 2p for texts.

I put my father on this deal and it's perfect as he only uses WhatsApp for texting and calling (on WiFi for calls). If he does make the occasional call it's the same cost as 1p without that £2.50 pm min top-up requirement. So if you don't text that often and get good signal with Three, that's the better deal IMO. 1p mobile is still a good shout though.
TCB showing as £2.02 only

No its 3p for calls on Three.
Its the 321 tariff - 3p per minute for calls, 2p per text , 1p per MB of data
So 1p mobile is cheaper unless you are a really low user ( like myself) , that does not use £2.50 per month.

In my original post I said I was going to use the SIM in my burglar alarm to send SMS update messages, then you quoted that post mentioning using credit for overseas roaming. My alarm is very much attached to my house, so couldn't go roaming...

But there we go if you put it in your burgler alarm then you can take it out again and use another sim. You assumed that i was talking about your burglar alarm. This post is about 1p mobile not your burglar alarm. Glad we cleared that up. Lol
I just voted HOT until my missis just tried to order with a discount code via PayPal giving £5 extra top up & 5% cashback Via quidco . She paid the £10 via PayPal and then the 1p mobile website stated arror and no emails confirming anything but PayPal still took the £10 off my missis balance . Can’t do anything now until tomorrow To find out what’s gone wrong but at this time no SIM card but £10 less on PayPal and to top it off ( no pun intended) the SIM card is still in her basket with all details ( name and address ) vanished !!

Will update soon as got more info on what’s happens !
