Thanks for the reminder, have booked for bank holiday Monday, my 5 yr old has been asking to try this out and why not for 1p,still I suppose 1 game won't be enough !!!

Thanks for the prompt. Did this last time - excellent. The kids love it and one game IS enough. We'll go the cinema afterwards, without breaking the bank!

Just booked for me and the girlfriend. Sorted!

When you go to book it says guide price is £8.00, but you may qualify for 1p per person bowling, you then have to pu t your card details in to confirm your booking, will I definately only get charged 1p per person as I have booked 2 adults and 2 kids for 9am?, thanks

You're not charged anything, you pay when you get there.

You are charged full price if you dont turn up though. So if you cant make it, phone to cancel, then there's no charge.

Thanks OP.

"Adults & kids can bowl for just 1p between 09.00am and 09.30am during the school holidays".
So that's 1p for 30 minutes worth of bowling then?

Voted cold for the very same reason - "we won't confirm the price until you turn up" isn't a deal in my book. Also the OP doesn't mention that only 2 adults can bowl.

"Bowl for 1p per game!
This offer is for a max of 12 attendees of whom only 2 may be adults. This offer is valid for online bookings on Monday to Sunday during the Easter holidays for bookings starting between 9am and 9.30am. "

So assume as long as you have a start time before 9.30 it is a 1p then you play for as long as it takes. May be wrong as not done it yet, but have booked a lane for 9.20 so here's hoping.

It's 1p per person, but I think you could book 2 games starting at 9am for 2p each.

Actually it is 1 game per peron per day at 1p. Link should be changed to point to hollywoodbowl.co.uk/1pg…php

While I wouldn't go as far as voting this deal cold it should be pointed out that Hollywood Bowl regularly do vouchers to bowl for £1 per person which don't have any time restriction on them which for the sake of an extra 99p is a much better deal imo.

Two poor adults in charge of 10 nuisance kids. I shudder to think of the mayhem! :-D

There's another offer on their site for people taking kids during term time with arguably better time restrictions.

Kids can get a game of bowling with a meal and a drink for £3.95 whatsmore, and probably the best part of the deal, is each additional game is only 50p.

Offer is valid from 3pm until 6pm weekdays.

No, I have done this numerous times before. The 9-9.30am is the bowling start time. It will be until the game finishes!!

It is always 1p when you turn up. I have done this numerous times. Your card will not be charged. Just pay cash on arrival. If more than 2 adults want to bowl then just book different slots in multiples of 2 adults each!! It is a genuine deal and you can take advantage how you like.

I wouldn't agree. For a family of 4 that would be £4 instead of 4p. Big difference!!

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great deal in theory - I just don't trust companies these days (i.e. travelodge booking me & my wife 2 family rooms when I asked for 1) - once they have your card details, it's generally all down hill from there. While your local alley is fine, would be just my luck to book the one where they'd be 'funny' - getting up early & driving 20 mins to find I didn't get bowling or paid £9 to suffer dozens of out of control 'darlings' (especially the ones where parents think they can get their 12 kids out of their hair for an hour or two for 12p) does not sound like fun to me. If I did book, I'd phone to confirm the price.

Shut up you spanner, if it says 1p then it's 1p! It's a bowling alley not a mafia run brothel.

Well you're obviously not going to agree what with this being your deal. ;-)

But for the sake of a couple of quid I'd sooner I'd have a voucher that gave me a LOT more freedom allowing me to turn up ANY time night or day with upto 4 adults (not just 2) rather than one requiring me to get up first thing in the morning on my day off and risk being charged full whack if I'm delayed in traffic!

Fantastic the above,
I go every time this deal is on, wouldnt say it keeps kids quiet but deffo keeps them amused, the one in Hull does great Bacon sarnies too for 99p. I usually goto cineword which is next door and take brats to watch a film for 99p so a saturdays morning fun can be had at 2 quid a head including bowling, breakfast, cinema!
