Damn I have FIve of these already in RAID 5

Damn, great drive. I just upgraded to one and it's awesome!

I'm getting £39.59 here?

Anyone else getting £39.59 or am I doing something wrong?

I'm getting £39.59 too

if it wasn't scan i might be tempted, got too much bad history with them and samsung drives.

i don't think i'd call i THE 1tb drive, i think that would be the wd caviar black, my black is certainly a lot faster than my f3.

the f3 is certainly a lot faster/quieter/reliable than the f1 however.

why do no 1.5-2tb drives have decent performance though (they're all "green") a few vm's will fill a 1tb pretty quickly and you don't want a sluggish drive for virtualisation.

£ 39.59 here too, 40p cheaper than ebuyer.

Going off the time the deal was posted, I'm guessing it was on yesterday's offers. They get refreshed about 1-2pm.

just bought this from scan a week ago for £37.

the device keeps spinning down and crashed my system so think it's faulty, have also tried it in 2 other systems with the same results.

emailed scan 2 days ago and no reply.

will ring them tomorrow but their customer service seems really crap!!

not impressed so far

I put one of these in my Sky+ HD box- great value at this price I paid £50 a month ago

I needed to replace a motherboard, so I sent them an email. They didn't email me back for a while, and then out of nowhere I got an RMA form and number sent to me.

So you might have to wait a few days for that to turn up randomly.

Just bought 1 a month ago and am still waiting on a replacement as DOA.

Ordered a 500gb 2.5" for my laptop and that also arrived DOA.

Not sure if its Scan or the Samsung drives but atm they are neither Fast or Hot!!!!!
