Is this the cheapest 1tb yet? seems like a good deal to me, heat added.

I have two of these, they are fine. paid about £60 each.

are these better or worse than the "wd 1tb hard drives?"

Thats the million euro question!
You have to weigh up the reviews, as its pot luck.
1Tb is the biggest I will go for at the moment until the SSD drives come down in price

Was going to pick up the 320gb version for £39.99 at Argos today but decided against it.

This present can be a little late.

Ordered and arriving on the 30th.

Great price.
Been thinking of getting one of these for a while
Missus has got me a Record player with a USB output for xmas, so will be playing my massive album collection for the first time in years. Then getting it all stored one of these.

Be aware, this drive is not silent running.........has a low level drone......i plugged mine in and sold it on straight away. If you have silent Mac stuff then you dont want a noisy HD; maybe I had a faulty one, but I didn't like it at all. My Seagate, with PSU, drive runs totally silent, so I couldn't make out why this one made the whirring sound.

Seems hot?! - will it be beaten in price on Xmas Day/Boxing Day?...

daft question but i take it this is a 3.5" drive and comes with power,,seems very cheap if its a 2.5"

heat added,,ive got a £5 voucher from nectar, and i know a reason to claim it from amazon

price has gone up to £52.50
