What's confusing about people's preference for tactile objects unaffected by DRM, software glitches, format incompatibilities etc. The world is pushing us to stream everything because like property, commercial entities want us to rent everything and own nothing.

Ok more reasons:

CDs? DVDs?

The odd cd here and there, more blu rays and 4K than I’d like to admit.

i do have too much ‘stuff’ though, but now and again there’s something I want to watch that you can’t find digitally... plus stuff gets removed from streaming services all the time.
This offer, and it is a good one as Ive bought quite a few, has been on ages!

I'm confused as to how you find this confusing.

Spoiler alert: In 2019, people will still buy books, DVDs, CDs etc.
