Yes I know you have to be a new customer. A simple new email address might be in order for some but some people may not know about it. Some people want 2 for round the house so thought it would be a decent bargain!

"Fire Stick" means gun; perhaps adding "TV" to the title would help??

Maybe It does to you, to most people on here a fire stick means a tv streaming device, not a gun.

not sure where? 10 pages of google says otherwise and even on urban dictionary that isn't even one of the definitions.

Except it didnt have a photo when I posted, just a greyed out box.

As for not knowing, perhaps you all skipped history at school, and never watched an old Western in your life.

Sadly for you, this is 2018, and everyone knows what it is, and would never think it was a gun.

Well, fundamental flaw there, I didnt know, so not EVERYONE knows; you miss a word out and lots of things take on totally different meanings, especially, as I said, there was no photo originally.

So you thought you could buy 2 guns from Sainsburys for £42.

I could point out that Woolworths used to sell guns (in the USA), as did Kays catalogue (in the UK).

But no; I pointed out that the correct name might be an idea, as what is written is open to misinterpretation; for example Fire Stick

What was being said, everyone these days knows what a fire stick is, no need to put "TV" in the title. You are the only one on here who thinks it should mean its a gun.

Did you follow the above link and see a genuine "Fire Stick" that it is reasonable to think Sainsburys might sell??

Missing parts of a description "because everyone knows" is the road to chaos; if I post "Thunderbird for sale"; am I talking about a car, a toy, or some cheap booze??

God, you must be bored.

God, you must be bored.

Not as bored as you, obviously.

Poor comeback. Must try better.
[sigh]

The expression is "Must try harder".
Ordered two of these and they sent me a replacement of 2 chromecasts instead, so when queried they told me to buy it in store so you lose the 18 pound, what a con wouldn’t redeliver so they don’t have to honour the reduction
