No it wasn't. You always have had to buy a product through them to qualify.

Thanks how do you get the 2 for 1
I bough a day cover in uk 2.67

It shouldn't matter whether it's £2 or £20, I just bought holiday insurance for £13 and it's going to save me a lot of money getting 2 for 1 on Tuesday's and Wednesday's!

I can find insurance for £2.09
If I pay this for one day will I get 241 tickets for a year?

It was free. You were able to put it any policy number and not have to pay.

For those that didn't want to commit fraud had to pay

Yes. Shortly after you've bought the insurance, the app will display the expiry date as January 2017.

That would be a glitch rather than it being free.

From what I remember they allowed current policies through them to use it as well.

Seems a cracking deal having it for a year! Am going away so think I may pay for insurance sooner!

WHOO HOO
I've managed to get my first code after minutes. I answered that my policy was more than 48hrs and it worked.
Thank you loads op!

+ the cost of giving all your I fo away and the hassle of spam phone calls and cold callers.

It may be untruthful if you say 48 hours and they find you just bought it

Wrong Mr Shareef! The 1st time this was posted almost 12months ago we were able to get this deal by typing a random number in the policy field and receiving 12m of free 2for1 !

You won't be told will you.

Does anyone know if this works for cineworld vip? probably a stupid question

Use fake details. I used 10MinuteMail for an email address and a really old work phone number. I'm never going to use the insurance policy so it doesn't matter to me.

How do you know if it's a qualifying purchase? because I've got it down to £2 but not sure if it's a qualifying purchase

1) If you buy a 3D you will have to pay the balance for your MK. This in mind if you have a VIP I assume you will have to pay the balance for the MK.
2) As an extra info if you have unlimited you will be able to use it with 2for1 hence you will get one tickets from the membership and free tickets with MK. This is great if you plan to see at least 4 films a month this will get you 8 tickets in total with just one unlimited card.
OP worth putting this in OP just so that the readers know this.

Ordered a policy for £2, but have to wait upto 48 hours until I can use the 2 for 1

In fact forget about waiting 48 hours, just tap yes on the app and it'll do it anyway

Not really no. Unless it was advertised as free with no requirement to buy a policy, which from my recollection it wasn't as I signed up straight away, then it wasn't free. What people did was exploit a glitch I.e. fraudulent (no judgement).

You could also walk into Tesco, go through self checkout and put a sirloin steak through as mushrooms, that doesn't make it free or discounted does it?

1st time i seen this

How about 2 for 1 on the popcorn

I paid £2.04 for one day travel ins, wasn't even travelling. It was easy to do and now have 2 for 1 movies for a year. it took 2 days for it to activate. great deal!

I payed £1.37 last year, and I still haven't been to the cinemas yet to use it.

I've no clue what app everyone is referring to. Can you please explain to me what I do after I've bought the insurance?
