Pay with your starbucks card?

Yeh says "and pay with your registered starbucks card...."

Is this a loyalty card or something else?

Original Poster

I paid with cash, so I don't think you have to.

its a kind of top up and loyalty card. you get added freebies included with your drink. ie free syrup

Dont forget to winge that they dont pay tax, like most other big companies that use loop holes.
but hot from me

Ah ha, i was actually waiting to see how fast will the tax issue be brought up since this deal is about Starbucks. And Bingo! Just after 5 comments and there it is. I am not sure why people like to focus on the tax issue rather than what deals the ops posted.

Because tax pays for the education and medical care of our children,

Make sure you also complain about all the unemployed scroungers and layabouts who have no intention of getting a job, who don't pay taxes and still get everything free

Why can't people just see a deal and be happy

Should be moaning about the quality of their coffee, not what tax they pay.

Link doesn't work for me? Any ideas?
I just get the 'webpage not available'

what about bianco?
is it included?

For crying out loud. This deal isn't about tax.

If you personally could get away with not paying tax, you would!

Either way, grow up and stop whinging about something you cannot control.

Hot from me as it's a decent deal.

Let me just get this straight, so only one of them is Tax Free?

Don't want tax issue mentioned yet mention tax issue.

Makes me laugh all these comments about tax for Amazon, Starbucka etc. yes it's wrong they are not paying tax but a) we like the lower price (ESP Amazon) b) we would all do the same if we could lower our tax liabilities and c) you can always shop elsewhere if it offends you so much.

Why do so many people sit in there with one coffee for hours and hours? Is it a cool thing to do?

lol, well said. why am i even on this website, its full of losers with nothing better to do with their time, someone posts a good deal and everyone just beats them down lol

Great deal , even thought I have card I haven't received this offer yet so thanks for pointing it out.

The company may not pay corporate tax but all the people that work and are connected with supplying products to Starbucks pay tax so how much would the UK government lose in tax if Starbucks decided to shutdown and leave the UK ?

It's all about people living outside their means. They go to Starbucks to appear 'cool', and then they can only afford a single coffee despite being there all afternoon...

Pity

90% of the drink is ice, which means very cold from me.

How about moaning at the Government that allow Starbucks to not pay tax, rather than at a business that follows the rules and legally avoids paying tax?

EDIT - Voted hot for a good cold deal

They're trying to work out what else to do with their Macbook Air other than browse the internet

No but I'm sure there are plenty of independent shops that make decent coffee in Leeds if you look around

Hot

But they're not free

Never been into one of their (or any other massively over priced coffee) establishments. Waste of money.

Are any of these drinks any good?

I had one previously on a special deal and thought I was in for a treat but it reminded me of a slush puppy. Ice and a lot of sugar, and not that much flavour really.

Tax

Sorry to tell you but 2 for 1 != free

Yes, they do sometimes.

Yes, they do sometimes.

So that means what I original said holds true, that it's not an out and out deal. It's just a recommendation from you
