Does this include a bat to play ‘whack a meerkat’
Aww Sergei looks so different off camera I’m hot
Thanks, my lady wanted to go there. Perfect timing.
Went to the one in Ely last year , had a brilliant time , staff were really helpful too.
Please - let wild animals be just that... if you want an authentic meetkat experience, go to the dryer regions of Southern Africa or Kalahari desert and celebratethem for what they are.
Now you have meerkat farms (like dodgy battery puppy breeders), pumping out livestock in order to build a meerkat empire...sick!
By the way, ridiculously expensive for whats involved here... dont be conned guys

That's wonderful if you can afford it but i'm guessing not everyone here will be able to.

Maybe it might be best to do a little investigating before you post such a generic comment. Yes it would be wonderful if everyone could afford to see every animal in its natural environment , but let's be honest its financially not possible for most , and you certainly wouldn't get the interactive experience.

I cant vouch for each of the places on the list as I've only been to Ely . In the main they house rescued reptiles , which they fund by taking them out to do educational visits at schools etc. The actual business isn't open to the public unless by prior appointment for one of these experiences .

When you go they take you round the reptile house and introduce their rescue animals . They have added to this a very small number of meerkats and two coatie, in brand new enclosures. The staff we met were completely dedicated to their animals , and although the parking facilities are barren the animals were in immaculately clean conditions.

The experience itself was a joy, you get to sit inside the initial part of the enclosure , and the meerkats will come to you if they want . If they don't , they have a secondary part of the enclosure that they can go through and avoid you if they like. However they are naturally inquisitive animals and basically use you as a human climbing frame while you visit. The money goes back into improving the site , it's a very small family business , and at this price for such as special hour is well worth it.

I understand if you are opposed to all animals in captivity, but these guys look to be doing a really good job , especially in regards to taking on a lot of the reptiles which their original owners couldn't cope with for varying reasons.
This code has now expired, but I've found another code that can be used which makes it even cheaper (£36.75)

FREE WILLY... FREE SERGEI ! Are you aware that there are circa 16000 "rescued" cheetas in South Africa, usually found as an added attraction to lure in the public (are lovely to stroke after all) to entry charging wine estates and "rescue parks" etc etc. "Rescued" animals have become a nice little earner (sorry, industry)

You really aren't talking about the same thing at all, next you will be telling me you don't believe that rescue cats and dogs are genuine , it's a bit different in the uk .
