It was this price a few weeks ago. I've still got plenty in the freezer from when I stocked up then. You aint gonna get a better bit of butter at a better price so it's worth filling empty freezer space if possible.

Best butter ever Going to Tesco later, so I'll have a look out for it. Thank you!

I didn't realise you could freeze it. Thanks for the info. I presume it doesn't effect the taste?

Apparently you can, it comes up in a lot of topics if you put it in a search engine.

One tip I'm reading recommends keeping the frozen butter in a freezer bag. When you want to use it, put the bag in room temperature water to soften it. Obviously, microwaving it (!) is a bad idea.

Or you can grate it or put it in individual servings for quickness.

Whole first page of Hot Deals is Tesco deals. As my nearest not-very-super supermarket is Morrisons, I think I'm going to have a little blub in the corner. I love butter as well.

Heat added!

A bit of butter is better than a bit of batter. But a better bit of batter is better than a bit of butter. But a better bit of butter is better than a better bit of batter and a bit of butter and a bit of batter. But...

Will definitely let Mam know, she goes goes through the stuff like mad! Might get some for myself, I'm sick of occasionally using hers with toast crumbs in it! Ick!

A saving of £1.20 is quite a lot when you're only spending £2. Miserable git.

Got some today thanks

not in stock... as always.. usual tesco trick to drag customers to their shop.. but if any one finds then its a hot deal..

£4/kg is the floor price for premium butter. Pile in.

I bought the "sea salt crystals" version of Lurpak 2 months ago. As much as I love real butter, it's so salty I'm struggling to finish it. But now I've learnt my lesson, I shall stock up on the original version with this deal.

Have some heat good price in fact very good price

Fancy stuff !
