Your welcome.
Thanks to whoever it was that left me rep anonymously.

Brilliant! I was needing just a couple of free searches.

They used to do loads of these freebies, but I haven't seen one for ages.

Where did you find out about this?

Many thanks seancampbell. Heat and Rep added.

Heh but only two people jo :P without a 2nd or 3rd acc anyways.

i just used my credits, and it just gave me info on what i already knew, it still had information blanked off ???

Original Poster

It still wont let you view Extended Archive Material, and for some people there's going to be less info than others unfortunately.
Though this will change when the NIR (national identity register) comes into effect.

isnt it just giving you the same info as if you had crediits or didnt have?

seems like its just gave me info that i was able to get without any credits as ive used it before to search a certain person

Did you click through to the "full details"? That's when it takes your credit.

Very useful.. Cheers mate!

Thank you

Got these incase I need them in the future, but havent used the site before. Had to make an account

I get to use this as much as I want at work!! I didnt realise any one could use it though, Im a civil servant!!

^ heh just goes to show the invasion of privacy that occurs all the time eh?

So what DO people use this for???

Finding old acquaintances etc.

Or just finding an address on someone if you have a name.

Getting a telephone number/email for someone.

Verifying details on employees (such as through the electoral role)

etc etc.

Lots of potential uses.

telephone/address I just look in the phone book and never wanted someones email addy (would just ask them for it...)

Also dont work so no need to verify details on employees

Thanks for the info (added rep as helpful info)

Lol, well it shouldnt! We are ex-directory, and people generally go ex-directory for a reason!

lol well to be fair we'd have to pay £3 to have a small chance of finding your number :P
N that's if your not on the telephone services preferance list.
