Its shared but if you use one alone I believe it makes the full 2.1a available. If using an apple phone then this will fast charge as their normal phone charger is 1a but the ipad is 2a
Smashing reserved HOT
I've gone for the 3.1A type as apparently this is the newest version (hope that's right!)

Heat for prices and effort
I'm assuming the USB plug is powered up permantly, independent of the switch.

It is indeed - switch is for the plug socket only.
Just got 2 of the mk at Fareham which will match my kitchen sockets. Lots of USB sockets in the aisle and none marked down but the mk scanned at the lower price.
Nice managed to reserve last 3 in a store 5 miles away.
Thanks op managed to pick one up for the kids tablets

It's a surface-mount pattress box, you install it in place of the single gang socket, then install the double on top of it.

they're not pretty, but they work

Thanks man I'm trying to look into it but googling around for pattress box and I can't seem to find any install guides or even any pictures of the front - do you have anything? I'm getting my room redesigned and I figured that getting a 2 gang would be very useful for powerlines etc.
Reserved for click and collect. Asked to call moments later to say we're all out of stock first come first served.

you are a G!

do you know if the screwless nick plate will be easier to fit than the steel one?

Screwless is usually a little harder to fit, because it's still a screw-on, there's just an extra step with clipping the faceplate on
Loads of stock in Kidderminster and Warwick if that helps anyone.
Homebase are useless where I am -for the umpteenth time I’ve reserved something that shows in stock -when you get there-“sorry none on the shelves to give you”-after the 3 hours .

It’s a scam as employees take them off the shelves themselves and sell them on e-bay.

I can’t deny them the chance for them some money-but then Homebase’s reserve and collect system is an then an utter joke and fantasy.
