Poor huskies
cruel
cold from me, this sort of thing in a few years will be looked at like elephant riding in thailand, utterly pointless and unjustifiable
The dogs love it.

I think we should ban horse riding as well.
All that turd and stuff on the sidewalks, and slowing down in our cars.

Good find thanks OP.
How is this cruel?

Why are they poor Huskies?

The majority of Husky owners treat their dogs worse than this company will do, simply by not giving them enough exercise and too much food. Then they get abandoned in rescue centers as the owners can't handle them and cant work out why they are hyperactive and "destroy" things.

Good price and certainly worth doing, mine loved pulling me along on my bike.
Valid till July 2019.... time to pile on the pounds
I'm curious , this company is too far away from me to consider visiting , but I'd like some more info from those that say huskie sledding is cruel . My ( possibly wrong opinion , hence asking for a little education) is that huskie dogs are working dogs , bred originally with amongst other things the purpose of running and pulling sleds. So I'm curious if these dogs are treated well , what the issues are here? I know there have been historical problems eg Whistler , but in terms of this company I am interested. My understanding is that as with other working dogs eg collies , they are happier when well excercised and working , and I can't seem to find any direct information to suggest otherwise , baring in mind this is assuming the company is looking after the dogs well. Any info gratefully received .
Had a little further reading after seeing the other comments questioning how this is cruel. It does look like I was being ignorant. Reviews from people who went are praising how good it was and they could tell the dogs are being cared for. Many other posts also stated that these are working dogs and enjoy the work and get upset if they did not get chosen. Sounds like a lot of fun and could make the pups happy too.

Well they shoud have some sort of extra Tax to ride a horse on the road to pay for the cleanups (maybe that's already a thing)

Horse riding has been a thing since forever (no one knows for sure)

Dude if you’ve ever spent 24 hours with a husky. You’ll realize they love it
And if they didn’t they would soon let you know.
If you tired to force them... well there’s 5 of them and 1 of you. Good luck

Not only do i have 3 Huskies myself but i also run a Siberian Husky rescue, those saying working a working dog is cruel clearly know absolutely nothing about the breed!

They LOVE it, i can assure you the dogs that we take in to rescue who haven't been walked for years, have massively overgrown nails and don't know how to interact with other dogs would much prefer the working life!

Huskies do not do anything that they don't want to do, maybe research the breed
As long as the dogs are well looked after out with the runs then it's a great way to exercise a breed bred for this . The ones to feel sort for are those getting 5 minutes round the communal garden.
